We had our house on sale with a previous estate agents and in June they had someone interested but they had not put in an offer. In September my wife had signed a SSR with another estate agent and today we have had contact from the previous estate agent with an offer for our property which we are happy to accept. If we do accept the offer will this mean we are potentially liable for dual estate agents fees?
Also can the SSR be legally binding without all homeowners signatures?

Yes it's legally binding.
Yes, I suspect both agents can claim a fee, though hopefully when you signed up the 2nd agent you gave him a list produced by the 1st of all the peopke they'd introduced, and they were excluded form the 2nd agent's fee liability....??
If not, tell the 1st agent to speak to the 2nd and reach an agreement as to who gets the fee. (example: 50/50). Tell the agent if they can't reach agreement you will reject the offer. Tell them the agreement they reach must be in writing, signed by both agents.0 -

Oh, and if the 'buyer' ends up going to the 2nd agent (because you refuse their offer via the 1st, or the 1st agent tells them to, or whatever), do the same thing!

If you sell via the 2nd agent, the 1st can still come after you for a fee - that's why the list of introductions is important.0
