psp 2.5 firmware-how to play latest games?

Options
Hi there,

I have a psp with 2.5 firmware running lots of homebrew with the eloader application and also through the gta game exploit. I dont want to upgrade or downgrade either, but want to be able to run the latest games with later firmware requirements. I have heard of a devhook application that might enable me to do this but obviously dont want to brick the psp or damage the homebrew that is already working very well (eloader with honers rin, and nester I think )

any good suggestions from anyone who knows the full in and outs of the psp homebrew lark.

many thanks

Devhook only went so far as to the firmware requirements and has been sort of dropped by most people as there is a better alternative that involves using a new firmware that has been modified. I use 3.52 and I no longer need any loaders I can also make use of all the homebrew I like.

Unfortunately I am almost certain is is against forum rules to discuss this matter, but maybe search for M33 3.52

It has loads of nice features like region free PSP for UMD movies and a few others.

The upgrade process is pretty easy as long as you follow the instructions.
