    Your score means nothing.

    Here's an analogy.

    Let's say you're a dancer on Strictly Come Dancing, and I'm a talent scout.

    Len whats-his-name gives you a 9 out of 10 for your Waltz. However, I didn't like the way you danced.

    Just because you got a 9/10 score, doesn't mean I'm going to hire you.

    Same with credit scores. They're one opinion of you, not an overall be-all-and-end-all. Similarly, you might have a great credit score, and I might be a credit card company hawking out 39.9% APR credit cards - people with great scores probably pay in full, and aren't going to make me any money!!
