Advise Regarding CCJ Needed

Hi Guys!
I need a bit of advise.
This morning two people came to my door and hand-delivered court papers for a debt that I absolutely forgot I had.
They had been writing to a different address number '3' rather than '32'. This is the address they had the CCJ enforced upon.
I have no issue with paying the debt - I owe it and I have already come to an agreement with them.
However I was sure they could't / aren't allowed to enter a judgment with an incorrect address. If they had written to me sooner at the correct address this wouldn't have been an issue becuase I'd have paid it.
it seems not that my credit report is seemingly ruined because they typed the wrong address on the form.
What can I do? The debt is only for £198 so it seems silly to pay double that to request it to be set aside. Can they do this instead if they are at fault?
Thanks for your advise in advance.

whilst dealing with the company previously , did they write to you at your home address? , or deliver goods/services
did you receive any letters threatening court action
did you receive any court paperwork
" I have already come to an agreement with them."
was this by royal mail , with follow up paperwork?0
