i signed up with talk talk and was told would be live 26 th august havent heard anything off talk talk . donet they want me or something

You should have recieved a welcome pack by now containing your estimated go live date, connect and go CD and i think your username/password.
A few days before you go live, you usually recieve your modem/router.
Give them a call tomorrow and ask them when you are due to go live and what stage your order is in.
Sometimes letters seem to get lost in the post.0
