I'm with O2 PAYG - my mobile is strictly for emergencies and occasional texts so my £10 top ups last me weeks. It's a Microsoft Lumia Windows phone.
On Sunday I had about £5.50 credit, on Monday it's all gone, and I hadn't made any calls, just a couple of texts.
What have I done to use up my credit?

Turn data connection to off. Should be in settings, go to Mobile and Sim, set slider to off for data connection.0

THANK YOU! It was turned on - I must have been fiddling with the Settings at some point - note to self: if it's working leave it alone:o0 -
Glad to be of some help. It's quite a common problem with people using PAYG, and possibly new to smart phones. Just had my Mum lose around £18 in a couple of days, she was not impressed.0
