I totally agree Rog2! oops! did you have to buy another?
Haven't yet Pania - I've looked at a few, but they were rubbish - the guy who bought mine got a bargain - it was like new.
My youngest daughter still has her Silvanian Families - bless her. :rolleyes2 :rolleyes2I am NOT, nor do I profess to be, a Qualified Debt Adviser. I have made MANY mistakes and have OFTEN been the unwitting victim of the the shamefull tactics of the Financial Industry.
If any of my experiences, or the knowledge that I have gained from those experiences, can help anyone who finds themselves in similar circumstances, then my experiences have not been in vain.

Books for me too. So often my heart leaps when I see a 'Sold Dispatch Now' email. Then I realise what book I've sold and think, 'Oh why did I sell you?' and my heart sinks.
And I've sold some lovely clothes that are too small for me but would be perfect for my daughters very soon.Total debt: 1 January 2007 £[strike]49,387.79[/strike] 1 January 2012 £[STRIKE]19,312.85[/STRIKE] 1 August 2012 £11,517.620 -
I havent actually sold anything I regret but I do have my corney Danielle Steel and Jackie COllins books no way would they go, I have every DS book in hardback!
I have a Nigel Hemmings print of a picture and to buy it now would cost about £1000 but I could not sell it, it reminds me of my dog that died a couple of years ago he was the reason I got it at a high price of £120
I sold all my care bears on ebay and was a little sad but I kept the one that meant the most to me. Thats the trick if your heart tugs a little at listing time don't do it!0 -

I haven't really sold much because you get so little money for secondhand things that it disheartens me. I try not to buy new things as they are so expensive, and do this instead of selling things really.
My heart goes out to all of you who have sold things your regret. I like books and can't really afford to buy them, but school fairs are great for picking up cheap books (about 20p each), and Oxfam is quite cheap too. Got a few bargains there. Oh dear I'm rambling now, I'll shut up!Finally Debt Free After 34 Years, But Still Need to Live Frugally

My husband (now 29) always regrets selling his Star Wars collection for some beer money at the age of 16 - probably cider in the park - apparently he 'it all' - he's gutted as he wants to pass it all on to our son who is 2
My biggest regret was selling my horse when I went off travelling when I was 23 - I was only away for 8 months I could have put her out on loan
If only we all had a crystal ball0 -
recently i've sold a few dvd's on amazon just to give me some extra cash for holiday spends
theres been a few that i've been reluncant to sell but every penny helps, including 1 box set i sold that was bought a few weeks back, still un opened but i got more for it than i originally paid so a bonus in a way
also sold another boxset for more than i paid as well even tho it was watched0 -
The one thing I have never sold is any of my books. which is silly really as they are all stored in boxes in my spare room. To be honest i don't think i'd get much for them so it isn't worth the hassle. But if anyone local wants to come and have a rumage through for something new to read, they are quite welcome to come and free up some space in my spare room
Free of course!! 0
