You could get your GP to write you a letter of support and get them to print a list of your medications.

I tried this, went to my GP and he said, 'We don't do this, they use their own doctors and only listen to them'.

I don't take any medications either (apart from one that stops me wetting the bed). The last serious medication I took I stopped in about 2003

My brother was in a coma for many weeks following an RTA and was never expected to make any recovery. He improved to the stage where he was able to work, albeit not in the kind of job he had prior to the accident. Like you, he struggled to adapt to anything new but with patience and support from others he managed.

Sorry to hear about your brother but he & I are very different. My RTA was in 1999 and I had a rapid improvement from then until Summer 2000 (learning to walk, talk properly etc). My improvements then slowed until I guess about 2003, when it plateaued, it has not improved since and never will.

My original sentence still stands, every head/brain injury is different.

I'm starting to think that with this Government, I'm my worst own enemy for still having my marbles. (Hope that's not un-PC thing to say these days).
