Eligibility
The Prize Draw is open to residents of the United Kingdom excluding (a) anyone connected in a professional capacity with the Prize Draw and that person’s immediate family members, and (b) employees and contractors of Amazon and its affiliates or of the Prize Provider(s) (defined below). Entrants must be aged 18 years or older. Entrants are required to have an Amazon.co.uk and a Facebook account.
Entry implies acceptance of these terms and conditions, and any amendments to them, which are final and binding in all respects. Amazon reserves the right to disqualify any entrant from the Prize Draw if, in its sole judgement, the entrant has not complied with these terms and conditions, has tampered with the operation of the Prize Draw, or has engaged in any conduct that is detrimental or unfair to Amazon, the Prize Draw, or any other entrant.
Prize
There is one prize to be won (the “Prize”), consisting of:
(a) £500 spending money for the winner (to be awarded in the form of a cheque);
(b) two Royal Circle tickets for the winner and one (1) guest to The Jersey Boys (“Event”) to be held at Piccadilly Theatre, 16 Denman Street, London W1D 7DY (“Venue”) at 7.30pm on Saturday 5th December 2015;
(c) the opportunity to meet Jack Pack prior to the Event at the Soho Hotel, 4 Richmond Mews, London W1D 3DH at 6pm on Saturday 5th December 2015;
(d) return standard class rail tickets for the winner and their guest from the UK mainline rail station nearest to the winner’s home to London departing on Friday 4th December 2015 and returning on Sunday 6th December 2015;
(e) two nights’ accommodation on a bed and breakfast basis for the winner and guest at Royal Garden Hotel Kensington, a 5 Star hotel in London (the “Hotel”); and
(f) return transfers between the winner’s home and the train station, the arrival train station and the Hotel, and the Hotel and Venues.
Please note:
1) The winner’s guest must be aged 18 years or over as at 4th December 2015.
2) The Prize Provider will organise and confirm the travel, transfers and accommodation to be provided as part of the Prize which will be arranged once the winner has been notified and has accepted the Prize. No refund or compensation will be given in the event of the cancellation or delay of any travel or transfer. Travel and accommodation are subject to availability and both are subject to any additional terms and conditions of the relevant transport or accommodation provider. Neither Amazon nor the Prize Provider will replace any lost, mutilated or stolen tickets or travel documents.
3) Guest must travel together with the winner on all train journeys and on all transfers. The winner and guest will share a hotel room of double or twin occupancy according to the winner’s preference.
4) The winner and guest are solely responsible for all ancillary expenses associated with the Prize and their attendance at the Event including, but not limited to, any additional travel or baggage costs and the cost of food or drink purchased.
5) The winner and guest should arrive promptly at 6pm at the Venue on Saturday 5th December 2015. Failure to arrive promptly may result in the winner and guest being unable to attend the Event and meet Jack Pack.
6) The winner and guest may be required to produce photographic ID in order to attend the Event.
7) The Prize must be redeemed in full at the Event and cannot be redeemed in parts.
8) The Prize carries no cash value and may not be transferred or substituted, except that Amazon may, at its sole discretion, substitute any Prize won with a prize of equal or greater value.
9) Any unclaimed Prize remains the property of Amazon.
Opening/Closing Date & Time
The Prize Draw opens to entries on Friday 16th October 2015 when Amazon Music UK posts the first Jack Pack Prize Draw post and closes at 23.59 GMT on Thursday 6th November 2015 (the “Prize Draw Period”).
How To Enter
To enter, entrants must:
(1) Go to https://www.amazon.com/gp/socialmedia/promotions/ukJackPack (“Entry Method #1”) or https://www.amazon.com/gp/socialmedia/promotions/ukJackPack ?AmazonBasic=1 (“Entry Method #2”);
(2) Click the “Like” button to “Like” the Amazon Music UK Facebook page if you have not already done so; and
(3) Click the “Enter” button to enter using your name and e-mail address associated with your Amazon.co.uk account. If you are not already logged into your Amazon.co.uk account when you click “Enter”, you will be required to log in to your Amazon.co.uk account to complete the entry process. After entering, you will be taken to an entry confirmation page where you can review your entry information along with instructions for changing your entry information if necessary.
Entering the Prize Draw via either Entry Method #1 or Entry Method #2 will connect your Facebook account with Amazon, enabling social features that, among other things, will enable you to participate in the Prize Draw. If you wish to enter the Prize Draw with more limited social features enabled, you may enter via Entry Method #2.
If you click “Go to App” in the Request for Permission window that appears after you click “Enter”, you will be providing ongoing consent to the Amazon application, which may offer other promotions in addition to this one. In the event of any dispute, all submitted electronic entries will be deemed to have been submitted by the owner of the Facebook account from which they were submitted. Winner Selection
Amazon will, in its sole discretion, select the Prize winner at random. The winner will be notified via email from Amazon Music UK within one (1) day of the end of the Prize Draw Period (“Notification”). The winner will have five (5) days from receipt of Notification to respond to Amazon and confirm acceptance of the Prize.
If a selected winner (or any substitute winner) is ineligible, cannot be reached, or fails to claim their Prize within five (5) days of receiving the Notification, that winner (or substitute winner) will forfeit the Prize and it will be awarded to a substitute winner. If, having attempted to contact a winner and a substitute winner, Amazon is unable to award a Prize, Amazon reserves the right to consider the Prize unclaimed.
This process is final and no correspondence will be entered into. Non winners will not be notified. The name of the winner and their county of residence will be provided on receipt of a written request sent to music-questions@amazon.co.uk within 30 days of the end of the Prize Draw Period.
