Cashback and insurance

Whilst I have been changing insurance providers yearly I have only just started following the guides.
My record was a year or so ago, I managed to get my house insurance for free :)
Split the contents and buildings to 2 different companies and got cashback for both equal to the cost :) sadly most of the cashback now has to take buildings and contents together.

I have just managed to get my car insurance for £175 (£100 less than renewal) and an additional £22 cashback :)

With my house insurance I had to phone them and after a wee haggle they brought the price down to cheaper than I could find elsewhere even including taking cashback into account :j:j

All in all quite successful.

So thank you MSE.

I have used it since 95 when i couldn't think of a user name :)

Its quite fun ringing the insurance companies, they do seem to try and keep custom nowadays :) :money:
