Same job titles not under thread of redundancy

Options
I was wondering if someone could help me please, I work for a global company whom have 3 manufacturing sites in the UK. On the site I work in there are 2 discrete production buildings a hundred yards from each other. This week the company announced that it intends to phase out production from the building I currently work in at the end of 2016 which made me go looking for my employment contract.

My contract states my generic job title together with the fact that I work specifically in that building, the company does not have anything as prosaic as job descriptions for the role I am conducting even though it is a senior role. I have two peers whom work in the other building on the same site with exactly the same job role and job title however I am suspicious now that they will have that building specifically written into their job title as I do therefore making them exempt from being considered for redundancy.

Am I being paranoid or can the company exclude these other 2 staff with the same job role as myself from any potential redundancies, if so what recourse do I have? I conduct the same duties as them, work virtually the same hours, I have already queried this with HR and am awaiting a response,

TIA

Job title wouldn't be important - I'm a business analyst and gone through restructuring twice and I was impacted while others weren't. So if they are closing down the building you are working at your role would be redundant. Is your building manufacturing the same stuff as others?

Manufacturing different products. I take it this means that despite my job title being the same as two colleagues working in another building they won't be affected for redundancy

Yes job titles don't always reflect the exact job done. Two IT managers or finance managers can be performing entirely different roles, working under different groups etc. My job title on HR system is entirely different than my actual job title. If there was a restructuring, they wouldn't be looking at it. They would look at what I actually do.
