Travel Insurance - 16 Year Old Only, 1 Week Trip To Romania

I'm trying to organise travel insurance for my daughter, who is 16 and travelling to Romania for 1 week. She is travelling with others, but they've to organise their own insurance. The websites I've visited only cater for adults alone, and she seems to still count as a child in this circumstance. Funny really, as I have to pay adult fees for her in every other instance!

if she's travelling with adults under their own insurance, there may be the option to add her as a guest (if for example that they have an annual policy). If you have your own annual policy, check if dep children are able to travel independantly of you (or you could shop for a policy that has that).

Thanks, my problem is I don't have insurance - as I don't travel! We only need cover for her, and she has to organise her own. The other adults going are sorted through their jobs, they work for BA. THanks forthe help.

I've checked on the the British Insurance Brokers Association (BIBA) website for finding a broker online for cover for a child travelling alone... go to the below link and click your location or insurance type and it brings up a list of possible companies. Hope that helps!
