can i scart my sky box thru a normal dvd player to watch thru tv or does it have to be a dvd recorder

No question i stupid if you don't know the answer...
Not sure exactly what are you trying to do...
If you have two scart sockets on your DVD, you could connect your Sky to the Ext2 and then connect the TVout to the TV ( 2 x scart leads )
I have a Pace Sky box and that has 2 x scart sockets - so could be connected the other way round ( i.e. dvd player to Sky, then Sky to TV )“That old law about 'an eye for an eye' leaves everybody blind. The time is always right to do the right thing.”0
