Hi there newbie alert so sorry if this is in wrong place
My credit report is showing a default from Vodafone from a contract I had years ago that was cleared by a Scottish trust deed that I have been released from. The trust deed was completed in September of last year and it's not been deleted from my credit report itself.
I have contacted Vodafone to try and rectify this but I cannot provide them with the account number for the contract as it was from 5 years ago or something, all I have is the last 4 digits that experian have a note of. Vodafone keep telling me without the account number they can't help as even given them my address details at the time and my full details attached to the contract they can't find my details on their system.
Not sure where to go with this but it's harming me financially and it's getting on my nerves
Thank you for all help

you need to contact experian and explain to them that you went through a debt recovery plane and that it finished last year and they should be able to contact Vodafone and look into removing it off you credit file.Nobody is Perfect. I am Nobody, therefore I am Perfect.
