Wireless leds for under cabinets

I have been looking at putting some lighting under the cabinets in my kitchen but don't want to have wires trailing down to the sockets. Has anyone used the battery operated led spotlights? If so are they ok and how long do the batteries last? Thanks in anticipatrion x

Obviously not - wireless is not a term which exclusively relates to WIFI.

Unfortunately the original question is a "how long is a piece of string" question - it depends on the ratio of power used by the LED's to the battery capacity and how much they are used. LED lights will run for a long time on batteries - longer than old style filament lamps but ultimately its going to be hard to get a long term bright light from battery lights.

Don't know how long would the battery last. Get rechargeable battery if you want.

There is such a thing as wireless lights (or smart lights) which will connect to your router, or a smart hub of some sort, and can then be controlled from the internet. But the point you miss is that these are all still mains powered, so you still need the cables.
A kitchen installer should be able to sort you out using the current wiring, a transformer, and installing LEDs properly. No wires lying around.
Ah, if you literally mean without wires, then the above would do the job. You might get bored with changing batteries and of course you'll have to control them all individually.

In all honesty, for the amount of benefit you might get from it, and the hassle of poor light/changing batteries, you might be better off getting a lamp to strap round your head - at least you'd know it'd be beaming on what you're making :)

I have an LED reading light (the sort you clip on a book) and its batteries don't last long, even though it is only used a couple of times a week for up to 15 minutes.

I also have some Aldi brand colour-changing lights, meant to be stuck on the sides of a bath, and, though not yet used, the connectors have rusted, so this could be the case with using battery lights in a kitchen, where there is likely to be moisture..
