OP, I'm confused! :huh:
You say that your Dad has been off work for some time, therefore he is unlikely to be entitled to Contributory JSA (which seems to be what you are saying when you talk about being penalised for not having made enough NI contributions in the qualifying tax year/s). If he is on Income-Related JSA he would be entitled to the free dental treatment anyway.
That was my thought. Contributory JSA only lasts six monthsLost my soulmate so life is empty.
I can bear pain myself, he said softly, but I couldna bear yours. That would take more strength than I have -

Could he have been claiming ESA when he first became ill 18 months ago and now claiming JSA after the DWP found him fit for work? I hope you were able to appeal.0

Merlin if that was aimed at me - pension credits are out his private pension and state pension come to a tad more than that - not by much0
