Help desperately need to backup my contacts but can't download new apps!

My dear friend has a smartphone that is faulty. She can't use apps on it like whatsapp and can't download any more new apps. She want to backup all her contacts before reinstalling everything. Do you know of any online companies that allow you to backup up your contacts without having to download their app? I think her smartphone is a samsung Ericsson.
