Ngp parking fine.

Options
Hi there. A friend lives in a complex with parking managed by ngp parking. My friend checks out for available spaces within the complex and since living there has notices a spot that has never been used or parked in. So when I went to visit her I would park there. I assumed of there was any fine or issue I would be notified by a ticket. Weeks later, we have found out that parking charge notices had been sent to the registered car owners address, my Mum. She is currently living abroad so we didn't know about them until 3 separate fines had been sent out. I'd there any way we can contest not paying the £300 that they are asking for? Or at least getting the fee reduced?

Thanks in advance mse peeps!

These are not fines and they must not be paid.

Have a read of the Sticky thread for NEWBIES at the top of this page and then appeal each ticket separately using the template appeal letter you will find in the aforementioned NEWBIES thread. Use the template EXACTLY as it is for each ticket.

Appeal AS KEEPER, (the person who was keeping the car on the days in question as opposed to registered keeper) but DO NOT admit who was driving.

Don't worry if they reject your appeal and quote a load of legal gobbledegook at you. They must include a PoPLA code if they reject which means you can make a second stage appeal to PoPLA.

Do not pay, do not ignore, do not reveal who was driving, do not miss the appeal deadline.

Using the appeal template in the NEWBIES thread and making sure the driver's identity isn't revealed. That is what you meant isn't it?

Fee?? LOL - this isn't a fee, it's a scam private parking ticket racket, as we deal with every minute of every day here. Of course you don't pay or offer a penny! Please read the NEWBIES thread and appeal any which is within 28 days of the letter. Use the template appeal and give the KEEPER's name and an address (maybe your address so you see the reply).

If they are older than 28 days (date on the letter) maybe still appeal late anyway, just to give the KEEPER's name and your address so you can happily collect and ignore the debt collector letter chain (see NEWBIES thread). DO NOT write about what happened sand DO NOT name the driver.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
CLICK at the top or bottom of any page where it says:
