no I knew the soups would not be free as they had been, just got the 2 boxes as knew they were comparing well to Morr., needed to make up my number of items to get my cat meat which did not work out as good as expected  never mind some you win,
on a positive note they had not updated the APG system in my store so it worked as has been.
That's alright on the Cup Soups as 45p isn't bad (it's just the previous 'better than free' alters our perception:D:rotfl:) - it's less than one of my shower gels:rotfl::rotfl:.
I now notice the Activia yogurts have gone up to £1.98 - and they're also on mbuy but I assume that would have been fully picked up. Mbuy of 2 for £3, that's higher than the previous price:rotfl:, but it's getting boring now so I'll stop mentioning this (or try not to:o:rotfl:). I didn't actually pay very much as I used a couple of quite good wombles I managed to pick up the other night - hence it being an 'experiment' and SFSB (thanks) tempting me again with the handwash I forgot to pick up last time.0 -
Bubbs, hugs to hubby x100

I looked at this in my t this eve, was £8.
Was there looking for cos items (canderel, Seabrook, up&go, Gatorade) ... and found none of them. Least I picked up a free Dr oetekar pizza to make it worthwhile going there (!).0 -
Hope your hubby is ok bubbs.
Did a muggle shop in M today, always surprised how cheap they are compared to T.
M can be very good. In fact that's part of why I go there as otherwise I'd find, in the past, I'd get tripped up with things turning on to be even cheaper in M than the shop I was comparing against. That element of 'surprise' (finding out you could have compared to somewhat less) has gone a bit now that a lot of things are on msm, but still so much missing on there that I still keep going.
It's always tricky trying to compare against M (if we haven't already seen a result working on a womble or our shopping) - but I think that element of doubt has now come into all the other comps. with them taking their own scans from the online websites:( - although we get N/As for M and mbuys missing there too, believe it or not there would be more N/As against M than the current APG if they took from m.com and didn't collect instore.
My careful "expert":D shop tonight was a success with everything picking up M prices! I'm just awaiting my next failure in trying to compare against M:o:o:(:rotfl:.
Suggesting that T is quite expensive, it depends on what you buy though. M and T can be very good. Even Sains. and Waities can be, if you buy the right items like aau1 and combine them with CB offers etc. Even though there are currently a lot of brands at T on offer prices that are way more expensive than anything I go for these days (I've become more and more low-priced such than almost none of the offers seem very good any more), there are currently quite a few good prices at T that I saw the other night - I may mention some items in a moment (just have you buying things you were never otherwise going to buy though:(:rotfl:).0 -

Just a heads up especially for womblers-some advent calenders have gone to £1 in t's vs £2 in a's so some good apg's to hopefully look out for/gain in the next week or so( as long as they don't ruin it by buying too many cheap things-i live in hope)
1x Mars Advent Calendar (111G) £2.00 £1.00
2.42x ASDA Loose Mushrooms (PER KG) £6.47 £6.48
1x Asda Extra Special Hand Finished Belgian Chocolate Yule Log (EACH) £3.00 N/A
1x ASDA Real Cream (250G) £1.00 £1.10
1x Kingsmill Tasty Wholemeal Thick Sliced Loaf (800G) £0.75 N/A
10x Roberts Bakery Thick Sliced White Bread (800G) £10.00 £10.00
1x Maltesers Merryteaser Advent Calendar (108G) £2.00 £1.00
4x ASDA Fresh Milk Whole (4PT) £3.56 £4.00
10 loaves of bread...yes really, Savvy, 10 !!!!!
They're obviously going to freeze them (but in which case why buy at full price?) or buying them for some party. At least they got ones that are same price elsewhere though:T. We could do with the advent calendars going onto an unseen mbuy in A there:rotfl:. What do you reckon? £1 elsewhere? 2 for £3 might be a good price to pick;):rotfl::rotfl:. I wouldn't be looking out for receipts with advent calendars - take forever - just pick 'em up and whatever they turn out to be...0 -

1x McVitie's Penguin Orange (8X24.6) £1.59 £1.39

1x McVitie's Penguin Orange (8X24.6) £1.59 £1.00
Some 24-pack other Penguins in T at £1.99. Might fail to compare against A if they don't appear on a.com:rotfl: (need to check that carefully though - always no good though as they have actually stocked them in A but can't compare them against T if they don't appear online).
Did I see the 8 pack Penguins at T the other week at 69p?:rotfl:
Might the 24 pack Penguins be useful for an Ocado price match vs T - but I think needs to spend so much? Morries do stock them so don't try on Tvs M just in case that turns out to be really bad.0
