A reminder to all Elite, be nice to all posters please. We never know what is going on in people's lives and it can sometimes be easy to take comments out of context and read intent where there was none intended.

We also need to be on our best behaviour or RF and the forum team will be after us :A.

Internet troll = a person who deliberately provokes, often in an abusive manner, for the sake of provoking.

The benefits of exploiting a common resource (the online community) are largely captured by the individual trolls, whereas the costs are absorbed by the many. Left unfettered, the situation has a tragic end where the online community becomes depleted.

Yes I hear this now and got on ignore from now on :)

Unfortunately I can't do training that well (training of others) - they actually took me off that as I'd go off on tangents and then into depth about everything included that which the trainee really didn't need to know. This was before they, or me, "knew" that I had (and still have!:D) Asperger's - clearly my style was somewhat different to... everyone else's basically(:rotfl:) and, whilst not "wrong", it obviously wasn't the best suitable - they knew I was different and I sort of thought it was too but didn't really fully know - it was sort of implied that it wasn't really suitable for me and I sort of agree but never really knew. It's probably a different concept for me to explain there, but I hope I've done it well.

The 'problem', from my perspective, was that, if I didn't tell them all the details of the information, then they'd miss that part out of their doing of the job and thus would never be doing the job technically correctly. Just what happens to most people whom I was then seeing never did a job thoroughly and I always picked up every mistake and put it right myself. That's the thing as well though - things get passed down, through training, from one generation of staff to the next and things get missed in the communication downwards each time, such that the next decade they've stopped doing that thing entirely because no-one ever got told. And then sometimes I'd meet situations where I'd done a job, perfectly adequately, as they had, for ages- only to be told, five years later, that there was something I had never been doing - because it had never been mentioned in the staff training by the staff member who trained me and how I was I to guess that I should have been doing some extra, and very minor, procedure for five years when it had never been mentioned or referred to in any way at all? And of course it never mattered as the job had been adequately done for all these years without anything major happening or anything, really, going wrong.

Savvy, we would keep you on track and you would keep us on track x
