Busy day again today - other people always want to arrange a night out on a Wednesday:mad: - so can't stop and will be back wayyy later before I update any M details.
Just a few therefore - and it's all sweets and snacks. You were right to take note of my previous 75p RTC price from last year on the £1 M Monkey Nuts, as they have gone down to 50p!:T:T 500g of nuts for 50p is an excellent price IMO. I'm just hoping I don't see them at 25p next week:rotfl:. So it seems last year's RTC price of 75p was too expensive; however I did not see them going down to 50p last year so as far as I'm aware that price wasn't available last year but this year's price, now, is better. In fact I don't know if I can see them not wanting to have that price for very long - could see them back at £1 next week. The Seabrooks crisps are of course £1 in M now - red background offer label so what do you do when you see that?;) That's right - ignore the item! They should work on the APG until Thursday. They'll probably stop comparing to 50p sometime on Thursday evening. Assuming they currently are comparing to 50p - I was aware of one flavour last week that was not.
Some of the 'funsize' bags that are 2 for £2 in T are now £1 in M. Maltesers 195g and Mars 13. These will definitely NOT work vs M at the moment - Maltesers, for example, were £2.79:eek: in M on Monday! What might work at the moment is some of the RTC bags that are already on the list - Crunchie, Milky Way and the other one that I can't bring to mind at the moment:o:o (hence why I've a weight on the Maltesers and a number on the Mars as doing this from memory, to save time, and that's how I remembered it somehow). The three "RTC" £1 bags are still £1 in M today and might work but they are, I think, a bit dicey (and that's so even right now). Yes, it's Cadbury Fudge the other one - see, I remember:D. Crunchie, Milky Way and Fudge may be dicey from after Thursday (tbh might already be dicey, then again might be perfectly okay - depends what they found in their stores) but Maltesers and Mars "should" be safer (famous last words) but definitely not right now! Need to wait for prices to get updated on those.
Just to avoid continuing to tempt you, I've had to use a couple of different stores today and the chilled Sundaes appear to have completely disappeared all of a sudden. I'll see if they are there on Monday in the store that I usually check, however they have definitely disappeared now from the ones I've seen today.
The Selection Boxes are off. Now straight £1.76:( and no longer 2 for £2. Again, red border to the straight price:rotfl:. I think these do not work on the APG as they haven't picked up the mbuy, certainly not the Santa Selection box, but may depend on what time the shop I saw someone do earlier was checked. It's possible, if it was last Wednesday's collection (and they were 2 for £2 then), it may be on for all of two days from Monday's information. However, I don't know if the full price for M on the APG relates to Monday in which case it will never work. So, I think that's off now and that's it. The Dairy Milk Advent Calendar is also off - straight price now on that too and not as good as 2 for £2 before.0 -

I did a bulk order which was mainly loo paper and a Christmas fleece from Wilko for £12, the 48p cashback showed straight away and then the £10 went into the paid column last week and I withdrew it - I don't think it happens automatically now, you have to go the website and log in and check your activity list.
My other online purchase was for Marks but that is not due to go to paid until December - I don't have any hopes of getting this £10. I did 3 orders all within 24 hours and got muddled as to which Q account to do with which order - the sale had just started and then there was another 20% off next day and I think Sparks had got started so my head went into a flat spin - one order I kept and 2 went back.

Have been to dgd school for the afternoon to learn them about food and where it comes from etc etc at the allotment
So off we trot in the rain but pleasant rain not too cold ...well I wasn't
You get a note home from school that says water proofs for children's day at allotment does not mean a pair of wellies will sort everything out ...but you would think it did...the only dry children were those with the grandparents. today....And you can bet your bottom dollar tomorrow they will be ringing the school complaining that their children were wet today ...doh.0 -
I've been AWOL today, managed to wrap and pack the Christmas shoes boxes - 5 again this year and it took all morning about 3 hours to get them completed and then we took them to the drop off point - usually its a chemist on the estate close to us but this is not on the list this year. We went to the big church in town and they had no idea if they were a collection point or where to put them so we ended up at Shoezone in our nearest town - at least we managed to park in a free space behind the shop
I am still using the red jazzy wrapping paper we got in the John Lewis sale 2 years ago - I can remember collecting it from our waitrose and it being extremely amusing to the CS desk girls“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0 -
Just had a reply from Barilla re coupons.

Not sure if the frozen bacon is on mbuy today (in M) - as it's been removed from the main store today (like it was three weeks ago, only to reappear the following week:mad:). The other store I usually use - I haven't been able to get to today but they have never showed the mbuy in the first place (so that won't be any use even if I could get to it) and the other store I've used doesn't stock the product. The only other store I would now have available is a smaller M and is unlikely to stock the product either. So I think we stop buying bacon in M until they can get the mbuy price back onto the SEL if indeed it's still on. If you put the right prices on, we might buy from you;).
Also problem re. establishing the price of the Minced Lamb packs - and whether it's better buying in M, at 1p cheaper:(, or whether it's same price in T and M. I now have one store that has old £2.75 price on - other one which, somehow, I trust more, has £2.74 showing - I suspect the first store has never changed the SEL in the first place when it should have done - or else it's possible M has put the price back up by a penny. That does happen. I would need to see another store at £2.74; however, for one item, and for 1p, I'm not bothering with it. I guess it's £2.74.
The Pollock mbuy is showing though:D, in one of the stores. Even though main store has decided to take all pricing away. Other items in the frozen area appear to have lost their pricing too - even though there's, apparently (can we ever tell?), been no change of price and some of the offers are not showing instead showing full price - but are clearly on until 29th November in the other store, which has the Lamb at £2.74, which is why I trust it more.0 -

that's the problem, so many of these very short term offers you have to be able to act very quickly and make sure you have done all of the necessary activations with so much else going on its not easy to keep up.
I have a really rubbish track record with online orders - nearly always get cancelled or delayed or the item is not what I expected and it has to be returned“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0 -

I wonder how long this is going to take and if they will honour todays MOCs“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0
