In my store the other day the new till would not recognise G/c for paying (normal shop) and it was bar code scan cards which are generally better than magnetic strip. It also had a system meltdown with vouchers (Stella Cidre no price prompt, red £ signs on screen).

It seems the new till system isn't fully operational yet or I just caught staff that had not been trained yet. A waste of my time in either case.

Could i please gave some advice from the lovely elite.

My dd just phoned in tears . She has been doing training for her new job.and they just phoned her and said her old employer said
she was just a cleaner and not employed ss a career and she cant have the job without having experience. She phoned her old boss who said he could not discuss it with her but he woul talk to them again.he has told them he has no recolection if her being a career. Just a cleaner. When she started at 16 she was a cleaner but when she was 18 she became a career.she did quite a few nights as well si dont think they would employ a cleaner for a 12 hour night shift. We think he us lying as she had ni training ir qualifications. Any suggestions how we can prove she wss a career.

I was told when I left my old job that I didnt have to use my boss as a reference, and that I could ask one of the other qualified staff or assistant manager for a reference.

AJ and Perky thanks for asking , been a bit of a day but ok, had ECG app at 12.15, all was ok, but the doctor said he wanted me to go hospital for more blood tests, get there about 1.30 , million and one blood tests,intravenous paracetamol , another ECG , Blood pressure was:eek::eek::eek: 183/104 (but blame asda for that, will come back to this)
Then had to have an x ray,told me its gastric(which i already knew!) make an appointment to see gp tomorrow:rotfl::rotfl: some hope! said i have 1 monday ,got home about 6, had some soup pain is there but not agony like it has been but that and hakf sandwich is todays intake.

Just driven back from DDs and realised at the last set of traffic lights that I had done the whole journey without having the car heater on. Then noticed that the external temp is 16 degrees. At 6pm in November. Long may it continue.

Love and hugs to all those facing serious health challenges. Staying positive is important, easier said than done I know, but the thoughts of many are with you and wishing you well, and I hope there is some true comfort to be derived from that. xx

Back to Asda i had the biggest trouting of a lifetime today:eek::eek: thankfully not my store for £9.52 tilda apg
I was on ss scanned the apg as it asked top and bottom and put in slot as asked, ss came running over what you put in there?
I said apg, you cant do that she said, i said sorry was doing what it asked:o
She opened the thing up and got it out, thats cant be right she said a few rice and sweets:eek:
Innocent me said i just bought it and put through your price guarantee
Off she runs wiith it, see's some other woman, then goes cs desk, then on the phone, then manger comes, then on phone to asda house, then says sorry wont be long , i said hurry up i have been here 20 mins and need to be in another town in half an hr for heart appointment (laying it on ECG )
She then comes back and says cant be right need 8 different items, i said there are 8 , she siad no tild and 4 sweets, i said all different tilda she said no all different flavours count as 1 item:mad::mad: they are so thick!!
They then REFUSED the apg, i said give me my £1.30 back cash as already had apg back and i am going
No wonder BP was what it was!
