My poor DD was supposed to be at a One Direction concert tonight but about 10 minutes before it was due to start there was an announcement that it was cancelled as Liam was ill, not seriously ill, but unable to perform. Thousands of youngsters left absolutely gutted.

All my facebook notifications only appear as a little number at the top of the facebook page. I never get sent notifications by email. If I am wanting to be notified quickly, I keep a facebook page open on my browser. I really don't see the need for email notifications as well.

Collected my new (new to me) car today, the sat nav has a facebook app, so I could receive notifications on my sat nav screen - how dangerous would that be?

She is annoyed but she'll get over it. Yeah, I'm sure they will offer a refund, I think it was just managed very badly.
