Friend of mine has a child who is alergic to sugar, and that includeds the sugar found in fruit, poor kid, no sweets or anything, but apparently the sugar in apricots is allowed in small doses, so she got quite a few jars of apricot jam from me when those vouchers were about. Price of apricots is

    Good afternoon everyone

An interesting apg result from my delivery this morning.

    ASDA Garlic & Herb Baguette Slices (290G) £1.00 £1.47 v M

Ordered & invoiced @ £1.40 Although I think they should be £1 as the one with cheese is reduced to £1.

So overcharged 40p. If the same in store chance for refund & giftcard.

Incidentally, if I type in " garlic bread " on website it comes up as £1 but goes in trolley as £1.40.

If I copy & paste "ASDA Garlic & Herb Baguette Slices (290G)" it comes up at £1.40.

Weird one. Maybe someone cleverer than me can figure it out? :p

:rotfl: I've done that at Stansted before, their parking fees are exorbitant.

Don't try now, drop off is chargeable now that the top is open again :(

This doesn't normally happen, unless it now does under the 'new' APG. It looks like this is comparing against the Dessert Apples in M:

    Vs M
    1x ASDA Grower's Selection British Red Apples (650G) £1.00 £1.00

Not particularly good (other apples packs elsewhere are at 59p and 69p) but may be quite helpful to someone shopping in A and doing a 'Morries' shop. In M that I saw, the Dessert Apples had gone down to a 7 pack and even a 5 pack:(:(. Glad I bought my 8 pack last week and still have a few of those left (we did need beyond the 'cheaper' apples packs in Aldi and T). However, one other variety of apples I found in M, that had also gone down in number, the lower number weighed slightly more than the higher number pack:huh:.

Usually these change from week to week - I suspect it's just there to ensure that people from time to time get a lower number of apples for their money. They may well be back to 8 pack next week (in fact I think it's 7 but sometimes they squeeze 8 into a pack;)) - believe me, I am finding that I'm getting through fewer packs and having to buy less often:money: when I have that extra apple or two - it doesn't seem much but I'm finding it does make quite a difference - so it does seem always best to get as many apples in a pack as you can! And then stay off them when they're a 5 pack:rotfl:.

EDIT: I think there's some other apples packs at 85p in A. May they work out better, bought separately if necessary? (Have to be careful with A's apples - sometimes they have a nasty habit of returning particularly T at way more expensive price:eek:.) Again 85p A price seems not too good given prices on others in other supermarkets at 59p and 69p, but they are fairly low price for A (1p more expensive:mad: than an 84p offer elsewhere in A earlier in the year - and check SP apples don't work out cheaper).
