Don't buy the Soreen malt loaf on a Morries comp. - APG has been comparing 50p vs £1:eek:. This is 50p vs N/A for T, S and W, although no 10% available. Of course, I would never have bought this in the first place - hence the addition of "For info.". Useless info:rotfl:. These very clearly were 50p in M on Wednesday - they moved from store to store for me:rotfl:. Just like the lollies - that I think are risky anyway as SELs have disappeared in some places - that one week they were all in one store and the other had none - the next week they were all in the store that had had none of them and now none in the other store:huh:. Seemed as if they'd transported the lollies stock up the road from one M to the other:rotfl:.

The Apple Sauce is, I think, indeed cheapest at A. Another Lidl "offer" to avoid that turns out not to be good:rotfl:. They have some Apple Sauce 270g on price cut to 49p. However, it's 10g less than the A product and that red-label offer turns out to be more expensive:rotfl:. I don't think there's any other apple sauce in Lidl that would be better? Always difficult to tell - that there might be something somewhere else in the store that you haven't seen or that your store might be OOS and other stores have a better alternative available. It's why I generally don't put N/A items for Morries onto the list - I just never know that, even though I haven't seen anything that I think comparable, that some other M somewhere has a comparable product - at much higher price than A - that the price collectors then happen to pick up. On this one, however, I am fairly confident nothing equivalent in M exists. Instead, there's the slight possibility that it might pick up the M product that is outside weight and isn't 10% cheaper by weight - although I think it will be N/A and, as A is cheapest per 100g, therefore not a bad purchase. Just don't buy the offer in Lidl:rotfl:.

Talking of items that some stores within a chain have, but others don't - as usual my Mr T does not have this excellent item: they never stock these 'good-value' items in my store but some T for someone somewhere must have them:

According to msm there, they are twice the weight of the Eday Salted Peanuts at 48p. So, obviously, 59p for twice the amount would work out cheaper (and would also better 10% off 48p from Avs T or maybe M - subject to paying with wombles). I assume that the weight given by msm is correct (I would have used this as part of my TBG shop last night had they been available in my T store - as usual they are not!) but I'm unable to check that msm is correct because they are not on t.com for me.

Right, I was just popping in - I have some detailed information on other posts (as if this post now isn't detailed:rotfl:) to post later, if and when I get round to it, hopefully very useful stuff.

I have been to every cheap shop today but have not been very successful in finding bargains.

I have 20 lip balms, 5 sets of juggling balls, some make-up sets (eye liner, lip sticks, blushers etc). I did find pks of 18 condoms in the 99p store..... the SA laughed as my basket was nearly full!

I couldn't find any real bargains, in Superdrug, B&M, Homebargains etc.

I think I will get some industrial packs of pens and pencils as they should last longer, but I do need some nice things to send for the kids poor little things.

There are elections being held tomorrow, and there are real concerns whether there will be a military coup, so it is a bit :eek:.

I will be searching for things for the next week, and then post them.

Looking at Lidls web page right down at bottom left hand corner you can check what deals are coming up.
Mine shows the scent on offer 14th and 15th November @ £1.99
