You know, for all the greed and crap on here, there are some wonderful people who post on here. People who are not in it just for themselves, and although it might not be said out loud, you are appreciated by more people than you realise.“Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?”

[Strike]M was cheaper[/Strike] They were not 10% below M (my favourite) so it's another nice nearly £2!:T
However... :(I think I've been 'had' again - as the Savoy Cabbage has not compared. So, they still aren't 10% cheaper than M! It is the Savoy Cabbage at 50p in M at the moment isn't it?
In fact, the Cauliflower Cheese - I'm not even convinced (but then I never am:eek:) that that doesn't exist at M either - there is some Potato product at £1 (?) in M, but I don't know why anyone would spend that much and get a tub of mashed potato instead of saving money by obtaining potatoes in some other way - but don't know re. that Cauliflower Cheese. They also managed to buy :(one of the few Lynx Shower gels (250ml) that isn't stocked by M at present. Others £1 each - and 4 for £3 that only some Ms display:mad: - so "lost" another 10p there - mind you, if the APG went by one of my M stores I could have had £1 vs £2.37:eek: and lost more there if the shopper had got a comparable one!
Thank goodness UB's rices aren't 'full price' in M at the moment. The Italian Beef Lasagne compares (I think M Savers 1.5Kg might be better:rotfl:) but would have been better for me if they'd got the America Chilli Chorizo & Mac Cheese.

Looks like this may not even have picked up expensive new M mbuy on Belvitas mix and match so may have lost more there! Are they the Belvitas that are on 'offer' in M or some other ones? (Maybe M was straight price on Monday then went to 2 for £3 by Wednesday, who can tell?)
Stop buying Baxter's soups!:mad::mad::mad::rotfl:
Once again, A was cheaper - should never be the case!
All mbuys (Robinsons squash, Diced Beef 2 for £7, prep veg and kids sweets 5 for £1) processed correctly.
However, shop was actually done on Thursday so this may be on old data and could have changed since (probably unlikely to have changed much if at all, but can't exclude the possibility).
As usual, they mixed up their shop and got a ready meal that is on offer together with ready meals that are more expensive in M!
Probably just some yogurts comparing to an expensive M price that bring the M bill down!:rotfl::T0 -
Did there not used to be a poster of the same name as the title of this song?? Friday night/Saturday morning (for Savvy) tune

I don't know - might have been. I think there's a music artist of the same name as the title of that song!0 -

I thought it was a bit hot!:rotfl:
I think one of the few times they helped me on that womble really was when they picked up the Birdseye Steamfresh Pasta that is at £1.79 in A (the other ones are £1:rotfl:). So, their mistake:money:.:rotfl:
Lucky the Mouthwash happened to be on an "offer" in M.0 -
Sorry to hear things are still tough for scamps. Nice gesture Henlans. Petty people around.
OH's work freebie, going to see Tom Jones at the O2 on Sunday, anyone know how easy it is to park? Is there a lot of traffic at chucking out time? Other option is to have a long trip on the tube.
I also got those tickets via Show Film First which I gave to a friend. Tom Jones/Van Morrison doesn't really do it for me. Cheapest parking is at North Greenwich Station at £6 Sunday rate (fills up pretty quick though): http://www.ncp.co.uk/find-a-car-park/car-parks/north-greenwich-stn-lul/
Parking at the O2 can cost between £19-30 depending if you prebook.
Otherwise depending on what direction you're coming from you could park at Canada Water (free parking on most side roads) and tube it 2 stops or park at Westfield Stratford (costs £9.50 on the weekends) and tube it 3 stops on the Jubilee Line.
Enjoy!
ETA: Meant to add that you'll have a bit of traffic coming out but once you reach the A12, it's usually pretty clear that time of night'I solemnly swear that I am up to no good'0 -

I know it's not relevant, but the O2 Arena reminded me of Manchester even though it's not! And reminded me of how I went to pick up someone from Manchester Airport once. They came back from holiday and... exited via the departure lounge! Apparently quite difficult for them as it was a chore going up and down lifts and stairs with heavy luggage just to come out that way! Otherwise, would have had to pay probably quite a charge parking up at the car park to await the arrivals, but talk about the effort to try and avoid that... Had me circling round and round whilst I awaiting for them to be there to pick up:mad::mad::mad::rotfl:. Which I did, from the "drop-offs" point.
The free parking on the side roads would clearly be my preference there - subject to there being space. How easy would it be to walk for the 2 stops though? Or are the tube stations quite far away from each other at those parts?
I always do research online before I'm going somewhere new, to try to find the best parking - always a good thing to do.0 -

:rotfl: I've done that at Stansted before, their parking fees are exorbitant.'I solemnly swear that I am up to no good'0
