Well I've been out again and bought more Suns from the Spar so at least I spent some money in a local shop.
I then went to the smaller Morribobs and got 12 more cidres and also got 2 small packs of mince and 2 packs of sausages to cover the overage so just £3 to pay :)

I checked the Felix which was supposed to be 2 for £4 earlier in the week but the SELs said differently. I was going to get 6 Mortibobs standard tin cat food for £2.25 but the shelf was cleared of all varieties - pity about this as I've got a Morribobs till spit fiver so that and the meat would have meant only loose change in real money.

And then I got yet more Suns on the way out so I've still got more bottles to get tomorrow - won't get the COS 50ps now unless it does refresh overnight but you never know.

OHS is tackling the receipt scanning as I've turned the air blue. He did the earlier one but forgot to snap both sides of the receipt :mad:so it was rejected as having no date and time. So I had to re submit the earlier receipt and that went through OK. The later receipt is now stuck on 75% but finally went through - I will only really settle when the 50ps are added to the balance

I'd forgotten how stressful snapping and uploading receipts was but at least the Shopotize one I sent for review only a few hours ago had been accepted - it used to take days so this us very quick.

Also popped into Marks to look for mint gin but sadly none :(

In my Morries the full price SELs were wrong, the Felix still scanned at 2 for £4 (all varieties including senior). This happens so often at M now, I have to check online for offers before I go in there, because most of the time they don't bother to update the SELs.

Thanks to the OP for saying about the new Orchard campaign. I thought Mr T had abandoned me entirely but I got the email today and went very quickly to accept it. Am dying to find out if they are going to give me free beef!! I didn't think it was too clear quite what is going to come.

Did you have to choose an item? I had to choose between a Christmas pudding and a 2-Tier Xmas cake.

Thanks. Decisions, decisions ... do I spend £82 on wine? - I really shouldn't. I want to get one case, but the discount s better with 2....

I am sure you remembered to get as 2 x 6 not 12 on one receipt (as 6 max on COS or CS and cannot use the same receipt for both).

Yes I did. I had to choose between a Christmas pudding and a Prosecco sponge pudding. But the next screen still said tantalising things about beef!

2 tier Christmas cake sounds good! But I am making my own as I still have some of those cake kits from a couple of years ago!

    evening folks

i have a story that i just have to laugh at now

received a speeding ticket but was sure i couldnt have been doing what they said as i was parked near by
i phoned them today and they said that i was parked in a layby at the side of the road on the photo when a biker went passed which activated
the camera and the person who goes throught the film used my registration rather then the bikers

just think if i had not remembered i could of ended up paying when it was a total mistake

  • Thanks for Cidre op :)

Only had time to do one shop and wasn't brave enough to go for the full 30(x2!) so have a mere 15.

Also got a 3 off 20 till spit which should go nicely with the Xmas showstoppers and frozen foods Orchard vouchers (provided the dates overlap).

I notice every one else mention in showstoppers was offered beef - I was offered a 'Spanish hamper' whatever that is or a Xmas pud. Went for the pudding n the end because the Spanish thing was instore only.
