Apologies & Thank you tweets for posting QUIZ link :)

This morning has just rushed past

Fourp suddenly decided to go to South Wales & was going to catch the special bus that goes all the way to Cardiff. Always wanted to try this journey & cheaper than the train.
Off we set to the bus station, crossing the railway as we went & he looked down at the passengers waiting for next train.... next thing happens is he decides to go by train  easier but double the price.
Rush in to ticket office & SA asks if he is over 55?
    Yes.
    Can you prove it?
Yes - EHIC card in wallet :D
Qualifies for over 55 travel - ticket is same price as bus :T:T
Waved him off a very happy bunny :D

Next I purchased my tickets for going to visit Dad next week.

Wandered into town & collected the Pirate duvet set from Arg0s - very nice for £4.99 :)
Called into work (Boss away :D ) & was chatting & I mentioned about buying my tickets to see Dad for Tuesday.....:eek::eek: FLUMP IN HELL I work Tuesdays :eek: Stupid mistake :o:o:o
Tore back up to ticket office & luckily tickets are refundable :j:j big phew :o

Then went to Ts to purchase cat food but did buy another 4 packets of the 75p 16 pack of KitKats - good for guests ;) as dated next June
Eventually got home & watched Forgotten :T:T

How has everyone elses day been?

    A v m

Seabrooks and pizza and after 8's

1x After Eight After Eight Mint Chocolate Thins (300G) £2.00 £1.00
    1x ASDA Chosen By You Digestives (400G) £0.50 £0.45
    2x Wall's Mini Twister Ice Cream Lolly (8X50ML) £3.00 £4.00 :(
1x ASDA Chosen By You Bourbon Creams (300G) £0.50 £0.35
    3x Goodfella's Margherita Pizza (345G) £3.75 £3.00
    1x Milka Alpine Milk Chocolate (100G) £1.00 £0.96
1x ASDA Chosen By You Rich Tea Biscuits (400G) £0.50 £0.38
    2x Goodfella's Stonebaked Thin Pepperoni Pizza (340G) £2.50 £2.00
1x Seabrooks Crinkle Cut Potato Crisps Variety Pack (6X25G) £1.00 £0.50
    1x Aunt Bessie's Dumplings (490G) £1.50 N/A
2x Seabrooks Crinkle Cut Cheese & Onion Flavour Potato Crisps (6X25G) £2.00 £1.00
2x Seabrooks Crinkle Cut Beefy Flavour Potato Crisps (6X25G) £2.00 £1.00

And expensive Milka chocolate:rotfl:. Unless maybe you needed a certain amount to spend?

I'm still not sure what's happening with the biscuits there - where that 38p for the Rich Tea is coming from, as it seems like it should be 35p between that and the Bourbons. Or else, if it is 38p, then the Digestives and Bourbons are not picking up 2 for 70p:(. Msm is no help on the Rich Tea biscuits, so I've had to go back and read my own list:rotfl::rotfl:. And found no Rich Tea biscuits there:eek::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:. I think it's because I've worked out:o:o that 10% cheaper than M pricing for 400g is a little worse than the straight price of 300g Eday Rich Tea biscuits in T. However, I don't always know what the prices in M should be there as I don't always take the individual prices when they're on an mbuy offer (in fact I very rarely do). If indeed they are on the M mbuy offer:o. You'd think I'd know - but I think I've only kept the details for the biscuits that work out better (if they pick up the M mbuy) than alternatives available elsewhere. So, apparently, it's just the ones on my list as any other types of biscuits are technically an overpayment. (I do have the Nice biscuits on my list but have mentioned the 'cheaper' prices elsewhere.) But then it may make sense to buy in A - you can't use APG wombles at T (or Aldi)! I bet I have it wrong - watch Lidl be much cheaper on everything!:rotfl::rotfl: (That's the missing area, that I can't easily account for - though I imagine prices not much different to Aldi or indeed anywhere else as they're all the same - except Sains:rotfl:.) That said - here we go now with Brand Guarantee:( - Eday Long Grain Rice now at 45p:eek: on t.com and also the Curry Sauce 440g is more expensive (but not as dear as Sains:rotfl::rotfl:). They may just be 'hoping' that other stores follow suit:( or else just putting it up for a short time, to test the waters, and then bringing it back to same as A and M.

Had a big chat with DM today regarding Dad & after care - she is getting a bit wobbly about how she will cope if he doesn't recover :(:(
At the moment he can't control his bladder :( & this is upsetting him.

I'm now going on Wednesday & coming back Thursday as have to give blood Friday :)

Sorry to hear you are poorly again ...fingers crossed you will be home soon 😀

I had to wait for the results of my bloods and the doctor came and said I could go home. I got changed and as I was jumping up and down with excitement she came back and said sorry she had just shown the results to the registrar and he wanted to keep me in
