Yes I did. Unfortunately we had to have an emergency section so I am not really getting about too well at the minute (hence the need for easy, quick meals)
But we have another beautiful boy to add to the family now :)

Morning all - damp and horrible outside again

I am thinking back to my ponderings about Felix cat food from early in the week. It is supposed to be 2 boxes (12 x 100g ) for £4 in Morribobs and this was confirmed even though the SELs said different

So maybe today it would be picked up by the APG machine???
On mysupermarket one flavour was out of synch with the rest but maybe they are all showing the offer price.

(Yes I have converted my gang mostly to eating cans especially when all 3 arrive en block and ravenous but odd times one cat arrives that needs a meal to itself and opening a can then is wasteful)

Big To Do list to tackle as Oh thinks he has Friday off so I'd better get cracking

i posted this on the last thread.

Delivering a £12 rebate to domestic electricity customers.

    Policy objectives
The Government Electricity Rebate (GER) is a £12 government contribution to help lower the impacts of these Government environmental and social policy costs on consumer energy bills. It is part of a wider package of measures which will reduce household energy bills by an average of around £50 per year in 2014 and 2015.

You will receive the Government Electricity Rebate directly from your electricity supplier shortly as it is rolled out over the autumn.

    Eligibility
You will be eligible to receive a Government Electricity Rebate if you have a domestic electricity supply contract with a domestic electricity supplier.

We know that there are some customers who do not pay for their electricity directly to a domestic supplier e.g. those living in park homes, but who would otherwise be considered a domestic customer. If this applies to you, then you may not be eligible as government policies costs are not currently applied in the same way to these and we are not able to directly provide a rebate.

    How to claim the rebate
Most households will not need to take any action to receive the rebate. If you pay by Direct Debit or on receipt of a bill (e.g. quarterly) you will see a credit automatically applied on the next bill.

However, if you pay for your electricity through a pre-payment meter, you may need to actively redeem the rebate.

Your supplier should inform you about how you can claim the rebate but it is likely to be one of two methods:

You may be sent a voucher (likely with a barcode) to be redeemed for electricity credit when you next top up at your usual retail outlet. This voucher must be redeemed at a pre-payment vending site within the validity period stated on the GER voucher. You will need to show a valid form ID along with the voucher.
Alternatively, you may receive the rebate automatically as your supplier will have sent an electronic credit which you will pick up when you next top up.
Arrangements for how pre-payment customers receive the GER will depend on suppliers.

What to do if you think you have not received your rebate
The GER will be paid to eligible domestic electricity customers over the course of the autumn from the 11 October 2015.

If you are a pre-payment customer – look out for a letter from your supplier between October and November which should include either a £12 GER voucher or instructions to take your pre-payment key to a pre-payment vending site to collect your £12.

If following this you have still not received your GER, you should get in contact with your electricity supplier.

If you pay for you electricity by cash, cheque or direct debit you will have this applied directly to your account and will be notified of receiving the rebate on your next bill or statement.

If following this you have still not received your GER, you should get in contact with your electricity supplier.

but i missed the bit about having one last year. ive just checked and i had a £12 payment on the 30/12/14 i was not informed of this.not had this years yet, but having seen this, it looks like they will hold on to it until the end of the year

This is very odd, your rebate being so late in the year.
On Scottish power you can go to your online account to leave messages so I would query this - why yours is the end of the year when everyone else's is October or November.

I checked ours and I found the 2014 one in mid November so hopefully it will be the same date this year - it still seems to be later than everyone else's.
The weirdest thing is the total lack of communication about it - just wondering how many people have moved supplier or moved house in the crucial months or even someone selling a house for an elderly relative and not know about it.
