Dearest snap.
Please get some tablets....
then when you feel better go back to your job.
Get your own back on boss maybe stir a nice cup of tea with a spoon rinsed with pee or something...
Your boss is a bully and his behaviour seems very much like constructive dismissal.
Collect your wages and make and f@@@ him up when he most needs you...
Maybe look for another job first but don't let the bar steward win:)grocery challenge 9.86/600 -
Afternoon Elite :j
Well I did get some sleep last night. We went through the normal routine, of me getting under covers and then Berry wanting in garden, me getting back up, opening the back door (glad I'm in a bungalow and back door is next to bedroom), Berry going out and having a wee but then he lay down outside, so I got back into bed as he normally comes back in after a couple of minutes. This time he didn't, so after about 10 minutes I popped my slippers and dressing gown on and went outside. If I go round the other side of him he will get up and come inside, so I did this, then I went back to bed
So he starts the crying/barking. I went and got his big fluffy Costco bed from lounge and put that on top of his thin pad bed and he got on and settled down. Success .................. except by this time, I couldn't get to sleep myself. He is lovely and comfy and sleeping and I am lying there awake. It was after 5.30 that I got to sleep, and had my alarm set for 9 am for an Asda delivery
I got up and fed woofers and then shopping arrived around 10am, messed about scanning that and putting it away and then came on laptop, catching up on emails, doing Amazon subscription orders, etc and had my breakfast at 11.30am. And Berry is very happy thank you, sleeping on his fluffy bed which is now back in place in the lounge
And I am choking and having to use my inhaler due to the damp air coming in from the fog outside when I had door open for him last night and early morning. The sun is just breaking through now though

So that fits in with the limit re-setting on the 1st of each month - and someone earlier said their 10 voucher limit also re-set today. Or maybe its all smoke and mirrors and part of A's plan to k-nacker ou fun and games !
I'm not brave enough to try today !
Afternoon all, when apg said I'd reached my limit on the 1st of the month I had actually checked it a couple of days before but held back from claiming until 1st, so perhaps it was logged by sada and totalled up for that calender month even though no claim was made, so when I actually claimed it, it then said limit was reached.0 -

Why is there a "faint chance" that the Jaffa Cake version might work? I'd have thought it was more than a "faint" chance. Instead, it should clearly work. (Which means tentatively just test a single one of them in a shop first to check, before everyone them goes mad if it comes back successful.)
Why was Chocolate & Caramel bought? Yes, I've checked my own list (I'm not that good - sadly :(I do have to go back and check) and M don't have this one either.
Just because I like them :-)Love your Mum, you'll never get another one when she's gone.0 -

Thank you Mr expert and font of all knowledge
Do you think the Butchers selection Pork Mince 500mg will compare favourably against M's
tia
If you want my honest and complete answer...
Pass. I suppose it depends what you mean by "favourably" (but I'll come back to this). You are aware that that went up in price in M to (seemingly*) £1.75? The problem I have though is whether they will treat it as comparable, because of the amounts of fat in each (the A product and the M product). The A one has "typically less than 5% fat"? The M one though is said to be approximately 13% fat. Had this been the old computer scraping system online from msm, or even perhaps the new scraping system by the "independent agencies" against T, S and W, then it may have worked. However, with it being prices collected by humans in stores...
The price of the M product last Wednesday was apparently £1.75. However, I had different stock of the same product available in different Ms and different pricing that seemed to depend on the expiry date of the product. It looked like it was going up from £1.50 to £1.75. However, one store still had (out of date?) offer labelling up, which claimed a bigger reduction from an earlier price, which was not the previous price but it clarified the period during which that price had been charged. It may be described by mhoc as "superficial good value" in that it was actually a series of reductions and one which didn't even bring it to its lowest price now, as it had been cheaper immediately before. I think we now had £2.50 cross-out and £1.75 now, but it had just gone up from £1.50. It was also apparently £3 before, but they didn't claim that instead used £2.50?
There was a different price showing in another store, but that did not reflect the price shown on the actual product stock that was there.
In short, I've no idea what the prices quoted on the shelf or offer label related to and the product seemed to be £1.75 or, maybe, different prices depending on how old the stock you bought was?!?
Regarding whether it would compare "favourably" though, if this means that if it compared £3.00 against £3.00 that that would still be "favourable" since it would still be 30p APG, then maybe that would have a better chance. Even though it would, really, be favourable if it compared £3.00 against £1.50.
I've no idea if it will compare:rotfl:. It if it did, it "should" be £1.75 (or am I needing weight adjustment from 525g to 500g?) - although, to be fair, that's my own conclusion as to what the M price was - it wasn't exactly clear!
*As indicated above, I had different information from which I tried to work out what the price was. This might suggest that it might not work on the APG - or that the price it gives may be something other than my £1.75 (or £1.75 adjusted to whatever that would be adjusted to).0 -
I'm not worried as I don't mind chasing for refund but just know it can be a pain for others.
Looks like they have done this before I should have looked further back on reviews yesterday.

"DONT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!! Decided they they didnt want to send me my whisky as amazon made an error listing it, be very careful with this company. As a result my amazon account is now closed after 8 yrs using them!!"
Amazon Customer, 3 September 2015
Seller Response: We are very sorry that the listing was incorrect on Amazon and as a small business we could not afford to send the 6 bottles of Whiskey for the price of 1 which would have cost us a loss of £400, we did try to resolve the matter and offered the customer a free bottle of Whiskey of his choice and we refunded the order in full but he refused to accept the whisky or our apology. Whilst this is a rare occurrence we are all human and mistakes can happen and we will always do are up most to resolve them.
