Well, day 11, I've finally had a shower and am sat in the chair feeling more human than I have for a long time!

C diff is an infection I wouldn't wish on anyone, it's taken so much out of me, and the rivers of diarrhoea wouldn't have been out of place in an alien apocalypse!! :eek:

I've. Been in my own room with energy to breathe and not much else. Meanwhile the whole ward has had infection control up here swabbing and high intensity cleaning, so patients have had to be moved about so they could do this. Nanny, it will certainly be clean when you come for your op!

No one can come into my room without yellow apron and gloves, and I'm not allowed to leave. However antibiotics really seem to have worked and am hoping to be discharged on Monday.

I hope I haven't missed too much and everyone is ok!

Bless you LS. I have missed a lot recently, I knew you were not well but not the extent. C dif is horrible, my DSIL had it but when she started to make a recovery she recovered quickly. So hoping the same for you xxxxx
