    Oh, I'm glad I get these prices from M I really am:D:D. £1 in M. If anything ever works:rotfl:.

      ---

Still more expensive per 100g than SP 300g though:eek:. We assume that SP compares against M at 70p (slight increased price compared to a few months ago) and works out at equivalent to 84p for 400g.

Big red cross for msm there - although it's not their fault, if it's not on m.com as not sold online then it can't be picked up by msm's website.

These £1 meals in M though. It's not the full range of previous £2.17 and 3 for £6 that has gone to £1 but only a small part of it - most of the rest of the £2.17 and 3 for £6 is still £2.17 and 3 for £6. Which rather gives the lie to 3 for £6 being a good deal and (to me at least) draws attention to the fact that instead the £2.17 and 3 for £6 is a very expensive 'deal'. We have some few previous £2.17 items marked as crossed out £2.17 and £1 and the rest are at £2.17 and 3 for £6! Seen alongside each other on the same shelf, rather suggests "well, what might those 3 for £6 ones go down to?;)". Even if not, I'm sure they were £1.46 earlier in the year and makes 3 for £6 now quite expensive. What a surprise:rotfl:.

I suspect this all passes by the ordinary person though (yes, I am extraordinary:p:D) and it's only me that sees [Strike]£2.17[/Strike] £1.00 on some of them and then thinks "well, the rest at £2.17 and 3 for £6 are made to appear very expensive".

Same, sometimes, with the Chicago Town pizzas. I like when one of my M stores fails to put a £1 offer (not current pricing - do not be confused;)) on all the range and leaves one up showing £1.99 everyday low price and 2 for £3:rotfl:. Thus showing the £1 offer on some alongside how expensively high that price and the mbuy are. (Actually, I don't like it from another POV - it means I have to check whether the further Chicago Town is £1 in another store:(. But - I do like the aspect of it being when it gives the game away:D. Though probably only to me:(:( as no-one else pays any attention and notices it:(:(:(:rotfl:.)

Most people don't appear to notice things and thus are so easy for the supermarkets to influence into thinking offers are good when, from the point of the shopper, they are (compared to lower previous pricing that regularly comes back around) clearly not.

    Just looking at Mycoupons.
I have 6 bottles of wine....one of which is the little 20ml Prosecco which will give me 1060 points in total.
They add up to exactly £40.

So with the 25% off will nicely match my £4.50 off a £30 spend.......

Bloomin clever these Sains analysts.......they also have the raw king prawns that I get quite often in T's as whoopsies or am I getting paranoid now:rotfl:

  • Never heard of streetlife.

    It is actually very informative.

In addition to people offering home grown produce for free, ours is also useful to find out what is happening in the area (for example I found out that a new Lidl can be expected in the local area in the new year), and to find recommendations for local traders - I found someone to service my boiler on there, and for £15 less than others are charging :money:

I will be looking for a recommendation on there in the new year for a gardener as my DS wants flower beds so we will be needing some help with that :D
