Just stork and icing sugar, a bit of milk and vanilla essence, about 100g of butter and 200g of sugar!!

If you have enough icing sugar I would add about another 100g and whisk like a crazy woman. Should solve it. Hope it goes well :)

I'm about to bake too, been asked to make a cake for a 7 year old girl with no theme, so going to make a rainbow cake.

Yes I know what you mean, I know I can come on here and ask anything and get a reply back, because everyone is so lovely.

I might not post all the time but that doesn't matter!

Run out of icing sugar, does somebody want to pop some round!! Lol
Will it stiffen up in the freezer for an hour! I'm desperate now!

Thanks for all your replies X

Just a word of caution but I wouldn't do that. It'll be fine to pipe, but as soon as it comes to room temperature it will melt over the cupcakes. I learnt that the hard way (giggity)

Anyway I had better announce what I've been up to

Yesterday I had my hospital appointment for a hysteroscopy which was done at the gynae outpatients clinic and you will be pleased to know my inner workings are all shiny and pink and fluffy, no polyps, nothing sinister, no samples or biopsy needed :j

(they say most women "bear it" - this one didn't and I needed a local which was also painful - normal oral pain killers categorically do not work)

this was the end of a few weeks of careful controlled and well disguised and hidden hysteria.

It started when I had the normal smear and I was asked if I had anything to report. In the interests of honestly I had to report mild spotting a few months back.
Because of this the doc then had to follow procedure even though I had no other symptoms whatsoever.

Firstly I had a scan - this took 3 letters and 2 phone calls to organise as they were giving me appointments for the other local hospital, 2 hours away via various buses or trains - impossible to get to if you don't drive.

Then after this 3 days later I had a phone call from the docs and I was asked to make an appointment - worrying. It turned out that one of the things they measure is the thickness of the lining and you have to be within set parameters - I was 1mm too thick so that ticked another box.

Next day I had a phone call from the clinic to make an appointment which was last week. This though just turned out to be a booking in session, just taking your medical history yet again and yet another internal exam - this could have been done by the GP very easily or even the practice nurse.

And then I was booked in for this weeks torture - thought it better to get it over with.

    so that was yesterdays outing.

So nothing to worry about at all and I can now be taken off the sick list, although I was never really on it.

    Glad everything was ok mhoc
Must have been worrying for you.
