I do that sometimes too.
Seems pointless having a shower and doing housework to get hot and bothered and have to have another.
Does get a bit embarrassing if I do it when I forget I am due a delivery especially if it's wine. Not the look accepting delivery of alcohol while still in your dressing gown. :rotfl:
I do this a lot at weekends, but today only done the basic, hoovering polished and wiped kitchen side down, just not in the mood today so didn't do it :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
I will admit I almost live in my pj's, come in from work first thing I do is run upstairs jump in shower or bath straight into pj's.0 -
:T:T:T how exciting, something to look forward to a nice new kitchen, would be nicer without the mess but cant have everything;)
Especially how many you have:p:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Sorry im going to stop picking on you:A
I'm going to ignore that last bit, not really bubbs I don't mind, it makes me :rotfl:
I always remember when we were all doing loads of BS orders my UPS man must have caught me in my dressing gown all week.
It is exciting as my kitchen is a throw back to the 70s and we moved in mid 90s and have not touched the large kitchen at all except for having old metal window taken out and double glazed window put in.
We did strip the awful paper off the little kitchen (yes I have two kitchens like the PM;)) and paint the wall to freshen it up 10 years ago.
We are going to knock wall down one side to make both rooms into a bigger area, not going to take the whole wall down as I don't want the hassle of having the mains electric being moved and we have got a workaround.
It would be a lovely big room if the whole wall was taken down but I like corners as you do more with them. And means the table can go into the corner one side of the wall we leave up.
I'm not taking the brick built larder out either as that's just more mess I think replacing the door for a bifold one will help as really its only the opening of the door that has ever been a problem it's a huge storage space I would hate to get rid of.0 -

Builder been round to measure up our kitchen for renovation.
Not going to start it this side of xmas, hopefully in the spring but we needed to know what could be possible with regards knocking down walls....I am not looking forward to that bit at all. The dust!!!
We are hoping after xmas we can strip the kitchen bare ourselves and remove everything. A nightmare when you have stashes. But trying to keep the cost down as much as possible by doing as much as we can ourselves. :money:
Hopefully using our usual builder this time, family friend, we strayed away having our garage and bathroom done. Don't regret the bathroom as the guys we used it was their area of expertise "wet rooms" and you wouldn't want a leak. But I do kind of regret not asking him for quote on the garage we may not have had the niggly problems we did have during and after.
Not sure why but at the time Mr TS was not keen to ring him but I think having used the other guy now he realised that maybe we should have. We had asked the other guy whether what we wanted to do was possible and you can see the difference between the two as he just came round and looked whereas today our family friend had his book and tape measure and wrote down every detail and is going to send us off a rough itemised guestimate of the cost we are looking at. :T'I solemnly swear that I am up to no good'0 -
Good afternoon.
Was browsing on the Wilko web site and came across this advent calendar. It seems good value at £5 and would make a nice change from the usual chocolate calendars. Unfortunately no girls in our family to buy for, just boys.

Thanks cjj I will have to go and look and see what my store have but not going anywhere at moment as little storm brewed, the wind was like a mini hurricane with all the leaves blowing around.
They couldn't agree on Lidl thread whether it was fresh or dry. I just assumed it was fresh as didn't know you could buy it dry.0 -
