Savvybuyer wrote: »Not very good on the wombles again:(. They're now getting stuff such as Smirnoff 1L at £15 rather than buying it at £18.50. That's just £1.50 which, when they insist on buying several packs of Alpen bars at £1 each:( that compare to M at double the price, is useless. The Smirnoff was good to buy - SFSB, as usual, got the few hours window of opportunity. I'm aware they've gone down in price in A:( and will be updating that on the M list - I might just remove them as they're now no good compared to what they used to be!
It's also useless when they are buying of the Birds Eye Chicken Grills 2 pack and trying to save money by getting the 2 for £2 mbuy:(. Yet another overpayment, as the 4 packs elsewhere go down to £1.62 (was £1.49 several years ago) and, anyway, some of the 2 packs also have been known to be 84p elsewhere recently. Of course they now compare to full price more expensive at M times 2:mad:. There is no excuse for buying items like this at the wrong time, when they are not on better offer elsewhere, as frozen items like this last for months in the freezer so should at least be bought at the correct time!
I also have people trying to save just 50p on each pack of nappies by getting 3 for £12 and, even then, paying £1.80 more than the price at Sains. They could just have got one pack and compared it against S for the same price per pack - no need to buy in triplicate, over-much, end up paying A three times over and still giving them more than a competitor price. Then putting useless other items in the same shop, that "save" (in other word lose money) against Sains. and result in no APG at all:(.
But... at last!!:) One(:() decent womble that's at least £2. It's because of the Ribeye Steak, vs Sains, not one for us to get.
0.6x ASDA Extra Special Aberdeen Angus Beef Ribeye Steak (Typically 0.2kg) (PER KG) £14.91 £13.80
Another £1.11 overpaid!:( But not very good as they tried their best to cancel it all out on the rest of the shop and ended up with:
Comparison total (compared products only) £27.63 £28.39
..............................................................cheaper:(:(:(:( +£0.76
The Bourbon Biscuits and Custard Creams are picking up the Morries mbuy between them:
1x ASDA Chosen By You Bourbon Creams (300G) £0.60 £0.35
1x ASDA Chosen By You Custard Creams (400G) £0.60 £0.35
So, another overpayment there - and no recompense as the voucher was against S. Bourbon Creams a bit mean though - what, just 300g?:eek::rotfl: Merely have you buying unnecessary, not very healthy items that are too tempting:rotfl::rotfl::(.
Its the £2 Lurpak thats messing them up for me savvy:oTo do is to be. Rousseau

WishI'dReadSooner wrote: »I'm back - results just after 11 on Tilda. Bit peeved as NO birds eye inspirations fish of either variety in our store, no bounty bars either.
Got a good selection of Tilda (not Quinoa ones) but lost my list (left it in car boot! DUH) so hoping all I bought does match Morries.
Visited Aldi afterwards, heaving at 8am BUT not as bad as an hour later - they have the large Stollen in @ just £1.99 for those of you (like hubby) who crave it. Great price for a huge cake of it!
Bought some of their luxury Muesli - tried it & OMG it's REALLY good! Thanks I think to Mhoc for pointing it out. Trying a few other different items as have been so impressed by last lot of things we've bought.
OO - no it wasn't me with the luxury muesli but now you have said that its on the next Aldi list - what percentage fruit and nuts does it have please?
I like the Jordan's so nutty, had this a few times when it was a good APGS item.
This week I've been eating a very OOT mini box of Dorset cereal cherrys and berrys muesli which was very yummy. sadly it's over £3 a box and never goes much cheaper
So it has to sadly go onto the list of things I will buy after a lottery win - Dorset cherrys and berrys, waitrose, boden non sale items, Azamara cruises, 5 star hotels ...
I don't do the lottery
I think it was Granola bars we have been buying from Aldi for 99p instead of actual granola“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Check your emails Bella Italia have sent out Friday vouchers. One of the offers is second main for £1.
Gutted closest to me has gone not driving to S'ton on a Friday. M27 back to Poole/Bournemouth is a nightmare. I think a lot of people who work in London come home for the weekend.
On their FB page I think there is a link to a spin game, keep trying until you get the voucher you nee eg buy one main and get another for £1 or buy one breakfast get another free - that's the one I went for.
I then registered on the Bella Italia page of the one I'am going to and again they have the BOGOF breakfast - I am hoping you can use it Saturday mornings - glasses in the car so I can't check
I've been looking for Bella Italia gift cards thinking I'd seen them in Sainsbobs, hoping to convert some of my nectar points - sadly not“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove.
