Thanks silvercar, they are going to have a go at claiming when they get back.

They were actually excited about going to Edinburgh which was not in the plan. :D

My DD was delayed coming back from Kos in August due to technical problems. Delayed 12 hours, got £295 :T Thomas Cook tried to give her vouchers but a quick phone call got cash in the bank.

Potential glitch on Kingfisher Oriental tins (not tested but should work).

No multis on A.com and 2 for £1 instore.

Beansprouts, bamboo shoots and water chestnuts are 3 for £2 in T.

Buy in sixes and pay £3. Apg should compare £5.10 v £4 returning £1.50 meaning that 6 cans cost £1.50 or 25p each.

    Results from a shop yesterday A v T

    2x King Fisher Beansprouts (410) £1.70 £1.33
    2x Kingfisher Sliced Bamboo Shoots (225G) £1.70 £1.56
    2x Kingfisher Sliced Water Chestnuts (225G) £1.70 N/A

If anyone is tempted to add these to a v T's shop today, stick to 3 each of the Beansprouts and Bamboo Shoots.

I think that's half the fun of it. I was so excited when TM got the fizz in the little Santa outfit :D

    Thank goodness its Friday!

Finally sorted out DD1's car insurance. £1600 plus a black box :eek: She's happy though, loves her little car and being independent. She said to me the other day she feels properly grown up now!

My cold was very short lived thankfully. Poor DH got bronchitis after his though. :(

Looking forward to doing not very much this weekend :)

:rotfl: close enough! Trying to get a cheeky batch in before work but I have no idea what I'm looking for/doing.

Also I was joking about the London tourist exchange rate. I wouldn't have a job otherwise! :)
