    I don't think it's an unusual term. Basically the photos, Rightmove listing and accompanied viewings cost £300. However they'll take the cost out of their fee if you sell through them. I can't see how it's unenforceable when it was clearly listed and is in return for a service.

    I think you have shot yourself in the foot leaving the property on the market for two years. I wouldn't buy one for fear it would take me the same to sell it. Take it off now and regroup in the Spring. £300 isn't much if it means a sale through the new agent

    As they havent managed to sell it so far,despite other properties in same street going for similar prices,we dont have any faith that the changes to their services will help.

    Other houses in the same street have sold for similar prices? Maybe it's not the EA at fault here....

    Just a thought.

    Because it's the nature of the business.


    The agent is paid to sell the house, how they advertise it is their business model.


    What next the cost for the broadband, heating for the office...
