Thanks again. Just wanted to make sure even though i have paid 12 months in advance, that i could jump ship before the 12 months was up without any charges. Also no need to inform BT, just let the new provider do the deed.
Is it only the phone you are transferring or is there BB involved?0 -
If you previously have been billed on a quarterly basis, you can certainly continue to do so even with line rental saver.
You may have to call them to get this as, from what I remember, you can't do this online.

You can get 12 months free caller display by signing up to BT privacy (which also registers your number with the TPS) and agreeing to 12 months contract to BT.
This year, in August, when I tried to renew it, the online system warned me that I would be put onto monthly billing. On a number of subsequent phone calls with BT, I was repeated told that it is no longer possible to have Line Rental Saver with quarterly billing. There is no manual override anymore.
And, yes, I was told that free Caller Display is offered to anyone who agrees to any 12 month contract with BT.0 -
Once you switch everything is cancelled.
Well our line was switched over on monday, but just had a email from BT to say its time to renew your free caller display. So its not been cancelled with the line rental, and i will have to phone them just in case they charge me even though i no longer use their service.:T0
