It was 7pm and it was the first thing he'd eaten all day. Of course I could have cooked separate meals like I usually do but I wasn't up to it and neither him or his Dad did a thing to help themselves.[FONT=Verdana, sans-serif]lol LameWolf that made me laugh

Afternoon (((((((((((((((((((((hugs))))))))))))))))))))))) if you need one.
We were into town this morning. OH had an appointment to get his INR checked and we both needed books from the library. I also popped into Boyes, but they did nt have what we wanted.
After lunch we have just spent an hour in the front garden digging out weeds, my back and legs are playing a hoolie now, will need painkillers tonight when I go to bed.
Managed to get the bed linen dry on the line, so just needs ironing, that can wait till tomorrow......mind you I will also have the Monday clean to do as it did not get done today. Just lit the sitting room fire. I put the storage heaters on last night, this morning they were stone cold. On inspection in the meter cupboard I found the heaters are on a separate fuse board and all the fuses were switched off. Have put the sitting room and kitchen ones up, will see what happens tonight.!!0 -
Af ternoon everybody,
Hester and judi, sympathy on the lack of sleep.....I find it very difficult to function without lots of sleep....my sympathy also judi on the thoughtlessness of your family......can I suggest you go on strike? When my family all lived here the choice was the same as LW suggested.......eat whats on the table or not!
Got my new spectacles today, still becoming used to them but really like the frames.
Dinner today was early.....pork chops, baked potatoes, pak choi, mushrooms and fried onions...really nice.
Gers....your posts always make me want to visit Scotland again.....my visits so far have only been to Glasgow and Edinburgh, very enjoyable visits but would like to get out in tne countryside.
TA....glad that your son is taking you to Liverpool for Mr TAs appointment, less hassle for you both.
Tru......jealous of the fun you and Scampi are having on the beach.
Lyn.......only 2 of my children live near to me, the others and 3 of my grandchildren are hours away, so I can sympathise with you.
Dumpling....glad that you are feeling better today.
DD4 has had a busy weekend.....her in laws have been visiting from Hungary for the first time since the twins were born, so there was great excitement. We all had a lovely lunch together on Saturday, they are lovely people, our only problem was a language one, as DSILs mother speaks as much English as I do Hungarian.......none, but we managed. They have gone home today but will visit again soon I am sure.
We had rain last night, its very overcast today but no rain and its not so cold either so no complaints from me.....OH feels the cold much more than I do so he has lit a fire in the living room, its nice, but I wouldnt bother if it were just me, although I might put on socks.
Enjoy the rest of the day and take care

Ah, but it depends if they're only thinking of curing their own ills or considering their partner also. I shall say no more, save that I've had migraines cured thus. (Sorry, TMI)
