Wide calf fitting boots

I was looking forward to treating myself to a nice pairs of back boots for winter from Duo boots as i have wider than average calves. I previously had boots from them and, while they were pricey, they were exactly what I was after.
Sadly Duo boots have rebranded with a ridiculous new name and, presumably to pay for the rebranding, are now charging eye watering prices so I wouldn't consider buying from them.
Can anyone recommend a manufacturer who makes good quality leather ladies boots in a wider calf fitting. My foot size is perfectly normal, not wide, it's just the calf size which is bigger (16.5 inch).
Thanks

Clarks do different width fittings. I have wide calves and struggle to buy boots but I've had success at clarks20p Savers (£22.20/£100)

I have the same issue, and have an account with JD Williams, who do legroom boots, they give you the sizes on the website, so you can measure the calf and get the right fit, there are 3 'larger' sizes - so can choose if you want ones that can fit jeans in as well as our legs,
you don't have to have an account, can pay as you order, and I tend to stock up when they have a sale, on average £70 boots for £20 - bargain !0 -

Thanks. I dropped into Clarks after work and they did have some which looked ok until I put them on. I only have size 5 feet but they looked enormous. It's maybe because I'm used to perilously high heels but was looking for a more casual low heeled boot this time. The "nessa" styles in the wider width fitted ok though so they are an option and they weren't outrageously expensive.I have the same issue, and have an account with JD Williams, who do legroom boots, they give you the sizes on the website, so you can measure the calf and get the right fit, there are 3 'larger' sizes - so can choose if you want ones that can fit jeans in as well as our legs,

I didn't know about J D Williams. I may have been reluctant on the basis that they are mail order however if you don't have to open an account I will certainly have a look. I did think it would be nice to have ones which I could wear with jeans too.
I'm surprised that there aren't more options in the mainstream retailers as there must be lots of ladies with the same problem. I can't believe I'm the only person whose reward for 20+ years of 3 step classes a week is overdeveloped calf muscles:DNO FARMS = NO FOOD0 -
Try Evans if they are still around. I've had great boots from them. The only thing is that the foot size is a wee bit bigger than normal. I have quite a skinny foot and needed a 7 rather than my normal 7.5-8.
Decent quality and I'm pretty sure they weren't too dear or I wouldn't have bought them.Father Ted: Now concentrate this time, Dougal. These

I was going to suggest Evans too. Got my boots from there last year and they are still in really good condition.Zebras rock0 -
I've always had issues with getting boots and in the past have used Duo Boots but refuse to pay the new prices!!
Part of my struggle is that I am only a size 4/4.5 with very pronounced calf muscles that start at my ankle. I often have issues even moving the zip at all! I'm having even more issues now as following the break of my leg earlier this year, I have swelling in my ankle soaking it even harder to find a decent fit.
Simply Be also sell the legroom boots and with them now having stores, you can go try on to get an idea of what size you need.0 -

The op wants wide calf, not wide feet fitting boots, I can't see any wide calf boots on there?
Interesting if they do them though as I also need a pair.I’m a Senior Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Competitions Time, Shopping & Freebies boards, Employment, Jobseeking & Training boards If you need any help on these boards, do let me know. Another vote for Evans.
