    Just a quickie, I'm pretty sure the TSB 5% accounts don't need any DD set up. Glad you got your free money :)

    Do you mean I could just pay in all of the 2k into it in one go? I thought it had to be open for 12mths and pay so much per month.

    I don't see the problem. Close the ISA, have the balance including interest if any paid into your current account and then switch. But bear in mind that you are unlikely to be able to open another one this year. But as you have already decided to get rid of the ISA I don't see the problem with that either.
