Has anyone got warm air heating with combi boiler for rads in an extension?

As the question says... The house we have just bought has warm air, plus an extension with an electric radiator which is 20+ years old and ineffective.
We are insulating as well, but the current warm air boiler is on its way out according to the local guy who does all the warm air servicing hereabouts... So, has anyone got one of the newer systems where you can run some hot water and a rad or two off the hog air system, as we don't want to extend the ducting?
