...down quilt?
Our 18 month old goose down quilt, after a fantastic initial performance, has two flat, almost empty parts (in spite of sewn pockets which I have gone over without finding any leaks) Where are these empty parts Topher? Well the one on the left is directly over where I sleep, and the one on the right is directly over where O.H. sleeps. And I shake it and fluff it and hang it over the bannister and the feathers plump up beautifully.... except on two parts. WE ARE COLD AND HAVE AN EXTRA FLEECE THROW AND I HATE AUGUSTS THAT CUNNINGLY DISGUISE THEMSELVES AS NOVEMBERS AND COULD ANY OF YOU CLEVER PEOPLE GIV ME SOME ADVICE about how to revive a goose down quilt that was made in China, bought at Costco and is probably up to the standard of a Mattel My Little Pony!!!!!!!!

If you bought it at Costco, have you thought about returning it? I understand their returns policy is very good - might be worth a try?
Good luck - I sympathise with the temperature at night too!:j Almost 2 stones gone! :j

sorry, its what happens when you wash a goosedown quilt rather than have it dry-cleaned. Jsut happenstance that the empty pockets are where you sleep.0

Thank you. We'll try returning it, Costco's returns policy tends to be good. I'm just worried about becoming their customers from hell, we are quite rigid "returners" and although we're strictly honest, I do wonder if this gets noticed.
