change Iphone 5c passcode entry appearance ?

Hi all,

I have an iphone 5c. The passcode entry dialogue just presents me with a keyboard as if i am entering text.
Id prefer it to be a bigger numerical keypad,a bit like the dialler keypad. Can i change this please or are there any free apps that can handle this better? I find my fingers are too big to reliably type in my passcode so i end up having to repeat it !

You've got complex password enabled in settings, so it gives you the keyboard to use for symbols etc. Change to simple 4 digit password and it will give you the number keypad to use.

As above, the path is Settings > General > Passcode Lock

Enable "Simple Passcode".

You'll likely be prompted at that point to enter one twice.

You also get the numeric keypad if you have Complex set but use a passcode with only digits; I have six digits in mine, and get the big keypad. It might be worth changing your passcode to a different number and see if it notices that it's digits only (It might be something only in recent software).

Now sorted,, i couldnt switch complex pw off as its a company phone but resetting the pw to numeric values only pulled up the big keypad,, thanks all
