Wireless Satellite Cable Extension

Mistaken

I have an unused satellite tv lead in the downstairs living room. I would like to buy a tv in the bedroom upstairs and watch freesat.
My landlord will not allow any more holes to be drilled to move these leads.
Is there a device available that I could plug the satellite aerial lead into downstairs that would somehow connect wirelessly upstairs in the bedroom?

Can't be done I'm afraid.

You would have to install the Freesat box downstairs and then use a wireless tv sender to transmit the picture upstairs.

What is the signal strength like in your area? Do you see lots of large TV aerial around or just a few small ones? http://www.digitaluk.co.uk/industry/About_DTT/The_postcode_coverage_checker and other sites may help too. The reason I ask is that if you are lucky you may get away with an indoor aerial.

The other possibility if you have unlimited internet is to try streaming from catchup sources and other to a Chromecast or similar device.

tv signal is very bad in my area. I have not heard about chromecast but will look into that
