Morning all,

Nice bright day here, got a load on the line and the bedding in the wm, will get dd to strip hers once she is up ! Should all dry well today.

Had a good YS find in Tesco yesterday, two bits of rolled lamb for £2 each and a nice bit of brisket for £3 !! I have the brisket in the SC which we will have today with the bit of Pork we already had, I will cook both then it will be enough for a dinner tomorrow too, will phone mum and see if she wants to come today for dinner.

I need to find some new bed sheets I like good quality ones but I think I need deep ones as my ones atm don't fit all the way down the mattress, anyone have any ideas ?

Heater, sounds like a nightmare for you atm, big hugs xx

Camelot welcome back xx

Judi hope you feel better soon xx

Have good days all xx
• Morning all, a bit grey here but have put washing out, the usual triumph of hope over experience. I have been up since 5.45, OH has just got up as asked if I have had the heating on, he was too hot in bed. No, I haven't and it is not hot, it is cold. I must do some work, friend coming for cup of tea later and there are hot cross buns, wildly seasonal.
I was jumping to conclusions and one of them jumped back
• RR Dunelm do extra deep sheets. I use cotton sheets all year round, get too hot with flannelette.
• Sun is out here (after the forecast was rain so I TD'd the washing) and it feel quite warm. Me and DH walked up to B&Q to get a new plug turney knob thing for the bath, which he'd broken months ago. He has just put that on and I'm making Peanut and banana buns and a Courgette, Lemon and Sultana loaf.

Bit of lunch in a while and I have a couple of bits to put on the FB selling page so need to take the photos.

HM Sausage rolls/plait for dinner.

Afternoon all

Just having a rest from prepping for dinner tonight. A veggie feast for six of us, and a game of rummikub, anyone play this?

Had great night at local quiz last night, and won! Only £4 pp and we had two bottles of wine on the table loads of cheese and bread and nibbles. Excellent night out

right, off for shower now.

Enjoy the rest of Sunday everyone.

I'd like to go into the centre of Looe today but being the weekend there's lots of kids around and Scampi is still scared of them – the younger they are the worse he is. So we'll stay around here this morning then head for the countryside after lunch.
I'm with Scampi on this one. You know those leaflets you get in prescription meds, the ones that say "Keep away from children"? - It's advice I try always to adhere to!:rotfl:
Patch is jealous - she'd love a paddle in the sea and a ferret around in the rock pools, but mean Auntie Wolfy won't even let her chase the ducks on the brook:D

• Judi, that's men for you, they think Hestering will cure anything, lol.
Chin up, Titus out.
• Good afternoon everyone,

Hugs and healing vibes to everyone. It sounds like they are needed.

I haven't been on this week, but have been reading. After Monday we have decided the car is not safe to drive anymore as the clutch seems to be going and I think there are other problems with it as very little acceleration. DH has spent the week organising finance so we can buy a car but the decision making process in this house is unbelievable. I do think we may have found a car fairly local to us so DH will have to sort it out tomorrow as the public transport round here is awful. We were going out this afternoon to test drive the car, but as the bus didn't show up we gave up and went home.:rotfl:

I have given the house a good clean and the washing and ironing is all up to date for the moment.

DD went to her part time job last night and worked again this lunchtime. She seems to be enjoying it and is pleased she is earning some money so will be able to buy Christmas presents. At the moment she may be the only one as without a car this week DH hasn't been able to work on the double glazing so no money earned:(

I have been baking and made some muffins, fruit cake and some biscuits. I am making dinner at the moment, we are having roast potatoes, a salmon wellington from Ald* and veggies. I have made an apple crumble for pudding if anyone wants it. DS should be home soon.

I do hope everyone has a good evening, I'm looking forward to Strictly again tonight.

Have a good evening all x
