Warning - Filmlush scam?

Options
My 13 year old son signed up for what he thought was a free 5 day trial of a film website since then 4 payments have come out of his bank account without his knowledge. I have tried to contact the company via their website to terminate any account he may have set up and they have come back asking for more details - full name, email address and first and last 4 digits of his card. Has anyone else come across this company? After the event I've found lots of references online to this being a scam. How can we stop payments?

    Sorry, not to have a go at you, but why on earth are you allowing your 13 year old free reign to sign up to stuff like this?

    In fact the T's and C's on the website clearly state;
    You represent and warrant that you are at least eighteen (18) years old and that you possess the legal right and ability to enter into this Agreement and to use the FilmLush Applications and Services in accordance with these Terms. If we have any reason to believe you are not 18 or older we may terminate your access to the FilmLush Application and Services.

    Your son basically agreed he was 18 years or older in order to sign up in the first place. I suspect the company (as dubious as they are) are asking for additional information as your son has essentially lied to them in order to create an account.

    My suggestion would be to email them again, explaining everything and that they've entered into an unenforceable contract with a minor and should issue you with a refund of any fees paid so far.

    If they refuse, cancel the bank card so no further payments can be taken, and mark the amount already paid thus far up as a lesson to your son not to be so stupid online.

    So here’s the deal: I wanted to watch some movies on my mac and I searched for it on the web. I found a site called cineble.com. I thought it to be a legal alternative to online movie streaming. They advertised with 5 days of free movies, then there was to be a monthly pay. So I ended up with them emptying my mastercard and now my bank and soon my lawyer is involved.
    But that is not my point!
    Cineble.comis run by iMoviesLtd. And they have scams like cineble.com allover the web. These guys also operate under different names: cinamuse, cinemaden, filmlush, and flixaddict, among others, all have the same ip-address. Still, it is run by iMovies Ltd.
    Check out the reviews of the sites here: http://www.trustpilot.com/review/www.cineble.com
    So now I’m sitting here with having to pay 100 dollars and I’m really angry. So I thought to let Apple know that there are people exploiting Apples i-names for scams.They should be sued! Reported to the FBI! How do we stop these criminals from taking innocent people’s money? I really don’t know. But I think that it would help to have the world’s largest computer company backing me. After all, they exploit peoples trust in Apple and their i-products by naming themselves iMovies Ltd."

    Another post which mentions film lush

    Seems like another case of someone signing up for a free trial and forgetting to cancel.

    TBH their T's and C's seem a bit of a copy/paste affair, citing USA, Canada, California (specifically), Barbados and English law. They're (c) 2015, and the film catalogue looks mostly like petrol station 99p DVDs.
