We need to get some Feliway refills before Nov 5th and see that Mr Pets appears to be the cheapest available in UK (£14.40) ?
I also see that other sites mention that OLD refills are only compatible with OLD diffusers, which implies that they have changed them ?
Could someone please confirm whether we need diffusers as well as refills ?

I'm sure I read recently that they changed the design, but then changed back again. I would perhaps email or call the stockist or manufacturers for confirmation before buying.0

With November 5th approaching, I've been doing some research into the cheapest Feliway products and thought I'd share what I've found so far with you.
Feliway Diffuser and 48ml Refill
Amazon – £13.48 + £4.50 delivery = £17.98: http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B0031TFZRK?keywords=feliway&qid=1445418531&ref_=sr_1_1&sr=8-1
Zooplus – £16.99 + £2.99 delivery = £19.98 (or £19.13 with coupon code: 5prukaff – think I got this through selecting 'New Customer' 4.04% cashback offer through TopCashback, but may be worth seeing if you can use the coupon and get the cashback): http://www.zooplus.co.uk/shop/cats/cat_health/feliway/169596
MedicAnimal – £18.20 + £2.99 delivery = £21.19 (or free delivery on orders over £29): https://www.medicanimal.com/Feliway-Diffuser-and-Refill/p/I9141280
Feliway 48ml Refill
Amazon – £15.97 (Free Delivery): http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B0031Q1KAY?keywords=feliway&qid=1445418531&ref_=sr_1_2&sr=8-2
Zooplus – £12.99 + £2.99 delivery = £15.98 (or £15.33, again using coupon code: 5prukaff): http://www.zooplus.co.uk/shop/cats/cat_health/feliway/354822
MedicAnimal – £14.90 + £2.99 delivery = £17.89 (or free delivery on orders over £29): https://www.medicanimal.com/Feliway-Refill/p/I9141281
I'm pretty sure all of the above diffusers are the new types. You might be able to make a better saving by ordering the Economy pack of 2 x 48ml refills, or combining a number of items and taking advantage of either the free delivery from MedicAnimal or the discount code for Zooplus.
Popped into Pets at Home yesterday, but all the Feliway products I saw there cost almost 100% more than those available online.
Can anyone do better than the above prices?0 -
Note: Mr Pets was out of stock of the refill when I checked, but still listed as £14.40 (with free delivery).
The diffuser pack they had was £18.20 (again, with free delivery), but it states it's the 'original' and there isn't a picture of the adapter to compare with the ones listed above.0 -
Animed direct £14.99 48ml refill
vat and delivery included0 -
Ordered 2 * Feliway 48ml refills from Animed @ £14.99 each inc free P&P
Delivered 2 days later
Strongly recommended !!0 -

Do these things work/make a difference?
Have been using a Feliway diffuser for a month now as one of our cats has a problem with marking. He used to urine mark 3–4 times a week, but last month was cut down to just 3 times in total, and all on the top floor of our house which is 2 levels up from where the diffuser is plugged in.
Unfortunately this coincided with us getting a cat flap fitted, so unsure whether that was the main reason why he stopped or if it was the Feliway, or perhaps even a mixture of the both. Marking was definitely an emotional/psychological response to something though, as he has constant easy access to two litter trays and uses them when squatting to pee.
Going to try a month without Feliway now to see if he goes back to marking more regularly. I would say it's worth giving it a go though.0 -
Feliway does seem to make a difference with anxious cats.
Ours is very anxious and he has an upsetting (to us) behaviour - when he's stressed he'll roll around, biting at his own back legs. Not hard enough to draw blood or anything, but it's not nice to watch. We're sure it's anxiety because you can distract him from it - if we call him he stops, and we play with him, pet him etc, when it's happening and it breaks it up.
ANYWAY, we have two Feliway plugs (large house) and when they run out and we don't notice, there's a definite increase in his anxious behaviours, which calms down again within a few days of putting a new refill in. If he's looking stressed the first thing we do is check the Feliway!0
