DRO help

Options
Hi situation is my husband and I have a joint personal bank account (which is prettyempty). I have credit cards (just confessed to him) and have been advised to get a DRO on my own behalf. We are both self employed with different businesses. He is just about managing but I don't want to taint him. One of the credit cards is with the same bank as our joint acct. My sister volunteered to pay it off but my preferred option was for hubby to take on the debt through an 0% interest cc deal for 35 months (he suggested this) , I was hoping the we could close the account down and he wouldn't get tainted by my debt. (He opened new bank account yesterday in prep for our financial split and had no trouble)
The only thing is I read you have to treat debts equaly for 2 years before the DRO.
Am very worried can anyone enlighten me, I don't want to do anything wrong.

If the credit card is in your sole name, and there is no debt owing on the bank account, close the account and include the credit card in your DRO and your husband will not be affected by this. If the bank refuse to close the account for any reason, they probably soon will once your DRO goes through...
