Terms and conditions*
All entries must be received by midnight on
Sunday, December 27, 2015.
6. The winners will be contacted by the Promoter by telephone or
email within 14 days of the closing date of the prize draw.
Should the Promoter be unable to contact the winner or
should the winner be unable to accept the prize,
the Promoter reserves the right to award the prize
to an alternative winner,
drawn in accordance with these terms and conditions.
7. The prizes as described are available on the date of publication.
Should the prize become unavailable,
a substitute of equal value will be provided.
8. The prizes are as follow:
1st Prize
One winning entrant will win a two-night short break
for two in Edinburgh. The prize package comprises:
• Two nights accommodation for two in the 4-star
Malmaison Hotel based on two people sharing a
twin or double room on a bed and breakfast basis;
• Return rail or air travel allowance up to a maximum of
£200 per person;
• One £250 voucher to spend at The Kitchin, Leith;
• £300 total spending money; and
• One 50cl bottle of Glayva whisky liqueur.
2nd Prize
Five winning entrants wil each win the following prize package:
• One £150 voucher to spend at The Kitchin, Leith; and
• One bottle of Glayva whisky liqueur.
3rd Prize
10 winning entrants will each win:
• One bottle of Glayva whisky liqueur.
9. Where applicable, each winner must take their prize as one package.
10. The 1st Prize does not include arranged travel,
travel insurance, transfers, food and drink,
personal expenditure or incidental costs,
other than where mentioned.
11. The 2nd Prize does not include travel,
accommodation, personal expenditure or incidental costs.
12. The 1st Prize and 2nd Prize must be taken before December 31, 2016. Availability will be limited during peak periods such as
Christmas and New Year, Easter,
school and bank holidays and during the
Edinburgh Festival.
13. The prizes are subject to availability,
non transferable and there are no cash alternatives.
14. The winners may be required to
participate in reasonable publicity on behalf of
the Promoter and Whyte and Mackay.
15. Entrants’ data will be used for the purpose of
administration of this prize draw and in accordance
with the permissions granted or withheld at the point of entry.
16. Events may occur that render the prize draw
itself or the awarding of the prize impossible due to reasons beyond the control of the Promoter and accordingly the Promoter may at
its absolute discretion vary or amend the promotion and
the entrant agrees that no liability shall attach to the
Promoter as a result thereof.
17. The Telegraph is responsible for the first part of the promotion,
which is the publication and adjudication of the prize draw.
